FALCON'S FIRST FLIGHT
It is a summer's morning on Corellia, some 20 years after the battle of Naboo. An improved model of the successful YT-1300 series is about to have a test flight, as it is almost stolen by a young smuggler. Now, he's about to have a second chance.... You play as Falco Talon, who was thrown in jail after his attempt to steal the YT-1300. A mysterious stranger offers you a second chance, if you do a job for him. Start your mission by breaking out of the prison (stunning trigger work), and then proceed to do your tasks. This scenario features of 15 minutes worth of involving cutscenes.
This scenario works best with the Landed Millennium Falcon mod... otherwise you'll see a bunker instead of the landed YT-1300.
Special thanks to: -Ykkrosh, for helping me make the Landed Millennium Falcon Mod. -The Vampire Slayer, for giving me a lot of ideas

Playability:
Great, this was really fun. The music really fits in the Scenario. The triggers were very well done. Brilliant.
Balance:
Very good. Not too easy, not to hard. I had no problems with the level, only the final fight I got killed the first time, then I read the Instructions and kicked Koenig's *** :)
Creativity:
Nothing to say. Just have a look yourself. Awsome trigger work.
Map Design:
Nothing to complain about. Lots of eye candy, very well designed map.
Story / Instructions:
Clear instructions and hints. The story is awsome.
Congrats James Martigo! |

This is the best campaign I have played to date :) It deserves 10/5 :) .
Playability (5)
Very good, there is a big variety of different kinds of gameplay, e.g. arcade-style fan bit, shoot the Stormtroopers down, use strategy to destroy something etc. I didn't get bored once! I will play it again when I find time :)
Balance (5)
Just right, I only died 3 times lol! (Twice when I didn't read instructions and ran in all guns blazing to the front of the assassination building instead of the laser entrance lol, and once when I went the wrong way in te fan bit). I also like the reminders to save, and the healthpacks are very well placed, I never had more than 3 :) .
Creativity (5)
There are plenty of cool parts like : the beginning cutscene, the light-bulb bit :) , driving vehicles (and finding stuff inside) etc.
Map Design (5)
The whole map is one big piece of eye candy! I want 10/5! I especially like : the mountains, the water channels through cliffs, the little slopes uphill. Everything is perfectly placed, and I haven't seen a single glitch!
Story/Instructions (5)
A brilliant story! When are you going to write the novel for EU??? :) lol. The instructions are good too, I never had one of those times where I didn't know what to do.
Overall (5.0)
This, IMO, sets a new level for designers to reach for, and is infinitely better than anything I could do :) . Well Done :) Got a few minutes free? Then DOWNLOAD AT ONCE!

Playability: Excellent. I didn't find any bugs.
Balance: It is great! I died about 4 times.
Creativity: How creative! Those laser gates are very neat!
Map design: This is where you really shine. You did an excellent job placing eye candy. How did you make the crushing fans?
S./I.: You did a great job making hints. You also had good instructions. It is also a great story! |

PLayability: 5
NO GLITCHES
Balance: 5
The fans were not that hard, but the rest of the scenario provide plenty of challenge. You find yourself wanting to look for every health pack on the map ( which is easy when the designer gives you a map) yet you don't want to use the health in case you can't find any more.
Creativity: 5
1 minute in and you will probably be knocked off your chair.
Map Design: 5
Very remminescent of dark rising, but even copying dark rising ( which James did not )is still rather difficult
Story: 5
ERAI DESU NE!!!!!!
GRIPES:
I know James warns you, but I felt compelled to take the at-st over to Koenig's assisstant's mansion. Now, I realize why I should listen more.
My major gripe is the fact that James is so good and I suck so bad. It is not fair. |

PLAYABILITY: 5
I've played this scenario three times and its is possibly the most entertaining scenario I've ever played. It's far superior to the scenarios in the official campaigns given with the games and no other can match it, not even TVS's Episode I Campaign.
BALANCE: 5
This had a few challenging parts ballanced perfectly with some easier parts. The fans, whilst not especially challenging if one attemtpts to run through them, become far more difficult if you try to get the Power Packs in there. Also Koening is rather tricky at the end, probably the hardest part of the scenario. Brilliantly done!
CREATIVITY: 5
This scenario was full of originallity. From the triggers to the storyline to the map design.
MAP DESIGN: 5
The whole range of terrains throguhout this scenario blend very well together. The jungle base terrain is done brilliantly, but the Theed-like town and mansion were full of detail and eye candy. The sea looked wonderful without the plain emptiness interupted only by the occasional fish which many other designers create. This is not quite as good as the Swamps of Naboo scenario in TVS's EI campaign, but it is amongst the best and certainly good enoguh to get a 5 from me.
STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: 5
The story of greed and betrayal was wonderful. Far better than a simple kill as as many 'evil' Imperials/Trade Fed Battle Droids/Confederates as possible. Adding in a less obviously evil enemy that betrayed Falco Talon was very good and having the Empire always looming over everything filling in the simple role of bad guys covered up the betrayal nicely. Timothy Zahn beware!
This is easily the best campaign/scenario I have ever played and leaves the official campaigns far behind as well as almost every other campaign or scenario so far put on this sight. This is a massive improvement on the Death Star Escape scenario which was brilliant. I wonder if JM's next scenario will be as big an improvement on FFF? |

Balance:5
It wasn't too easy or too hard. What else can I say?
Creativity:5
It was totally original and unlike anything I've ever played before.
Map Design:5
The eye-candy was stunning!!!
Story/Instructions:5
The instructions were clear and the plot fitted in perfectly.
Overall:5
This deserves 10 but 5 is the highest so... |

Playability: Great isn't the word for It. The Healthpack stuff is a big Plus to this review, you have to think to get through It and not just shoot the joint up. Also easy to get used to.
Balance: Not much to say exept not too easy, not too hard.
Creativity: Well, the only reason I'm not giving It a 5 is because It's only one scenario. I was hoping for a campaign, but the one scenario was great anyway. But a problem with the boss fights is that most of the time they are just guys with blasters and the way to beat them is just use your healthpacks.
Map Design: Awsome eyecandy, and cool tricks. Like hidden paths and other interesting stuff.
Story/Instructions: Awsome main character, backstory on the Millenium Falcon, colorful villin, and nothing left to complain about!
Overall: Get this, I don't care who you are or where you live, GET THIS! |

Playability: It's Kind of hard to get through,
the powerup things aren't that great.
--------------------------------------
A great map with a great story line.
BUT the thing I was disappointed in was
the use of bad language (damn, god...)
So I deleted it from my computer.
A great map otherwise.

Playability: 5
Not much to say, I think that with an "excellent" is enough.
Balance: 5
I never found surrounded by enemies that I couldn't take on. And, with the healthpacks and the Power Ups, all the challenges you could find were possible.
Creativity: 5
I loved the thing that you used healthpacks and Power Ups. And the final boss... well it was hard but excellent and possible.
Map Design: 4.8
Lovely. You made the terrains so perfect that you could actually nottice that you was in a prisson, or a cave, or an imperial facility. The only thing that could take you some points was that you put some Power Ups so hidden that if you didn'y use the "Power Ups Map" that comes with the file, it was impossible to find them. However, after playing it about 4 times you managge to find out were they are.
Story/Instructions: 5
Story was excellent, very creative, and it could be possible, since we don't know how the Falcon was given into the hands of gangsters like Han Solo. Instructions were clear, I never got lost.
Additional Comments:
It was excellent, and it gives some space for a continuation, that could tell how the Falcon passed from Falco Talon to Han Solo. (Hopee that with this review you can take BMN first place). |
