The story of the 9th Republic Commando Squad in 8 scenarios. They were just like any other Republic Commando squad - fast, deadly, all have a face of one. It changed when they were sent to Tatooine to pass an experimental special training course.

The campaign features Tatooine, Geonosis and Kashyyyk.

As RC-1111 (First) prepare to set charges, slice doors, reveal lore and give orders to your squad: RC-1112 (Repeater), RC-1113 (Heavy) and RC-1114 (Hole).

The campaign is meant to be played on Normal speed. Playtested on the Moderate difficulty.

If you encounter any bugs/problems:
1) if it does not allow you to progress - the Reconnaissance tab in some scenarios contains information on debug triggers that may solve the problem;
2) comment here or write me an email.

How to install
Download, unzip the archive, copy the content of the folder "Republic Commando - 9th Squad" to ...\Star Wars - Galactic Battlegrounds\Game

Note: apart from having slightly similar map layouts, this campaign differs a lot from my 2012 upload and its 2015 update - starting from names, dialogs, maps and ending with the plot itself.

The video shows the gameplay, downloading the game, installing, downloading the custom campaign and launching the campaign.

Update 2021-10-30:
Replaced 8 separate scenario files with a single campaign file.

Galactic Battlegrounds in not free on GOG (see below). That link you provide is afaict not official and its content therefore probably illegal.

Probably should take the link out...

But hey good to see you back Lumind! I'm thinking about doing a little design again, have to download your campaign and give it a go. It's been too long since I've played.

Hey, John Rambo! I have been looking for you. Can you write me an email?

I have removed the link.

This was actually the first of the 3 projects that I planned to publish after a 10-year break.
The second was "Tower Defense" (you helped me with it as well but I did not submit it in 2012) with id 5081. I also uploaded it to GameFront.
The third is an RPG about a character from KOTOR2. If you have time and desire, we could work on it together.
