This scenario takes place before the episode of Clone Wars where Mace Windu fights on Dantooine then gets attacked by a seismic tank. You play as a squad of Clone Commandos trying to find out if the Trade Federation has Invaded Dantooine. This will be the first level of a campaign, taking place on cliff tops, in Nute Gunray's ship, and a seismic tank factory. |

Playability: 5
Brilliant. I found myself playing this over and over again
Balance: 4
Also very good
Creativity: 5
A lot of creative licence taken, but that's not a bad thing
Map Design: 4
A bit strange in places, like the seemingly huge battle-to-be.
Story/Instructions: 5
The only possibly bad thing I could say about this is the grammar use. Otherwise, brilliant, though.
Additional Comments:
Overall, 5 out of 5. highly enjoyable.

Playability: 3
Basically highlight unit, click target watch them die
Balance: 2
too easy
Creativity: 3
the trade federation battleship was so easy to get in "break in throught ventilation shaft" OMG all you had to do was walk in a straight line.
Map Design: 3
trees and a base
Story/Instructions: 3
The story was so blunt i didn't need to look at the instructions or objectives
Additional Comments:
Another typical scenario with nothing new to offer, Darth Cracken how could you play it over and over again? It was only kinda enjoyable the first time (you totally overrated it)

I've posted this review (as well as some others), because there are SIMPLY OVERATED scenarios in Heaven. My purpose is to make these overated scenarios fall out of the top, so that there aren't any more disappointed users.
Playability: 3
The game is played definitely slightly, but there isn't much to do - just walking, killing and some chatting. Also, the game lasts really short - less than 10 minutes. Not much to be said about the playability though.
Balance: 2
You take control on 4 commandos with 1000+ HP. The problem should be obvious. Well, later you encounter some strike mechs, destroyer droids and bounty hunters who can do significant damage, but in order to lose, you must be really careless. It's not far from the mind to make a heavily wounded commando retreat or not fighting in case he is really heavily wounded. By the way, the enemies are not enough to threaten all of your commandos (the way to lose is if they focus only on one of your commandos, but by the time he is already injured, you would have made big progress and will be able to complete the scenario with the remaining soldiers without difficulties).
Creativity: 2.5
An addition of a cut scene, a *half-advanced* trigger and a ventilation system. Nothing creative else. As for the ventilation, it is true that you just walk straight forward (which doesn't make it a real ventilation).
Map design: 3
Your way is mainly fixed by tree masses from both sides or something else from both sides. There is a fair amount of elevations, but poor terrain mixing and not much eye candy.
Story/Instruction: 2
The story: Mace Windu orders the clone commados to see if the Trade Federation has invaded Dantooine. And here it ends.
About the instructions, good enough objectives, but VERY poor intelligence. See it yourself.
Additional comment:
A potentially good scenario with poor development. |
