Gotta say, I'm more interested in this movie than I was in TFA after TFA trailers started appearing. First of all, I assume that Luke is reflecting that maybe a cult isn't so great after all: good direction, if you ask me! Even if the question is just posed and nothing significant comes of it, at least it displays an element of self examination.
I really liked the sense of foreboding that the music and the red titles conveyed at the end. To me it said that the new trilogy's introduction is done, now we are sinking our teeth into the meat of the story that they want to tell. I hope it comes across like that in the movie.
Also, this may be coincidental, but Rogue One built heavily on the theme of hope being a driving force for little people to achieve great things. This trailer, and the Battlefront 2 trailer ("Hope cannot save them!") seem to be stripping that down again. I might be reading too much into it, but I'm curious to see what they are working towards. I got the DVD for Rogue One by the way, and it seems to have improved on the times I saw it in the cinema.
