i found an old youtube video of my grenade system. it works by using genieedit and making it so that in this case rands projectile (i think i somehow made it unique to him to avoid bugs) decays when it dies into a invisible object. i had a loop of triggers detecting every time this decay object was created and then removed it. unless the player used taunt 1. when they did the loop removing the unit would stop and instead i would kill that unit. and when THAT unit dies, it spawned a explosive droid or something that in turn was killed resulting in a explosion. im very sorry for the not that perfect videos but this was made 8 years ago and i was very stoned. also if you notice you can use your units "in the dark", that's a stealh system i made as well. by giving your unit 0 LOS and using map revealers, you can control lightning. there's a option in genieedit to make units appear in the fog of war. this allows you to have units go in the shadows. in the video i think that we are given a bonus to our attack since we shot from the shadows. this was made by having a object visible trigger detecting if the unit was in the fog of war or "illuminated" by a map revealer. very rewarding game to mod.
