Battle of Naboo

Author File Description

Style: Build and Destroy
This is my first SWGB scenario. The idea of this is that you are the Royal Naboo and on the other end of the map you have the Trade Federation. The objective is to build a strong Naboo army and destroy the Federation. Their base is very heavily gaurded. Beware of angry Gungans. Please e-mail me and let me know what you think or give me ideas.

Battle of Naboo is a very basic B&D scenario that pits the Naboo and Gungans against the Trade Federation. It doesn't function very well at all. You have several heroes who are 'supposed' to be kept alive, but there are no failure triggers if they die. In addition, there is nothing keeping the enemy heroes whom you are tasked to kill from wandering right into your base with their troopers during an attack. Killing them, again, accomplishes nothing due to a lack of triggers.

The enemy base is extremely poorly designed. All of their production buildings, along with numerous useless prop buildings are lumped together in the corner of the map. Due to the claustrophobic construction, enemy units get stuck on the buildings, or are otherwise unable to actually exit their base.
==========

Balance: 1
The map's balance is heavily skewed in favor of the player. You start with 99999 of every resource, whereas the 2 AI players on the map have only 1000. And due to the nonsensical contruction of the base mentioned above, the enemy is never able to muster an attack force with anything other than infantry and fighters/bombers. the lack of resources on the map means there's no real way they can recover from their severe disadvantage.
==========

Creativity: 2
There really isn't a whole lot of thought put into this one. I doubt the author even tested this, else they would have noticed the severe issue with the enemy base.
==========

Map Design: 2
The map is mostly a flat plain of grass and dirt with a narrow, ugly river winding across it. The map is 'decorated' with random props, resource deposits, and nearly every type of tree available in the editor strewn about at random. Not a very pretty sight.
==========

Story/Instructions: 1
Nothing to see here, aside from a list of broken objectives.
==========

Additional Comments:
There are much better B&D scenarios available.
