This is the demo of Mike Baron and Timothy Zahn's Dark Force Rising. It consists of one level, Sluis Van Station. Make sure to put the sound files in the Sound/Scenario folder. Look for the other two demos soon, and the full Thrawn Trilogy at some point this summer.

Good, short fun, though at the end, I was worried there would be a boss fight. Thank god there wasn't, luke was Knackered. Lando was a but useless however.
Very good, the close combat geezers, were the biggest threat, but the blaster guys could injure Lando, who refused to fight properly, and shot a grand total of twice
It felt like a spaceport, and to an extent looked like one. The Triggers were good (spotting Ferrier out a window was great) and there were some Civilians, and ships milling about, and coming in and out.
This is really pedantic, but a spaceport in space is not simple a big landing pad with loadsa docked ships. Its a series of hanger bays with marked landing spots. I was really surprised to see it, but there it was. The rest looked great, though Furnaces don't usualy exist in civilian spaceports.
Despite being based on an existing story, it went further than it, and built upon a solid story. Instructions were smallish, but adequate because it was still pretty good.
Playability : 3
It didn't work if you, like me, tried to be clever : I converted half the guards with Luke and ended up killing everyone before the end cutscene with my converts...
Balance : 4
It was a decent balance I guess but there was not really enough of it to tell, but my Luke was almost dead by the end, so it deserves 4.
Creativity : 3
No new concepts or ideas that I could see... but this isn't the whole game.
Map Design : 4
A good, if basic, spaceport.
Story/Instructions : 4
Good story, clear instructions, except when I converted people, when I didn't even get the next set of instructions...
Change some of the triggers so that any object in a certain area, of player 1, can trigger it (for example I killed the Niles guy before he moved to the end room), not just Luke or Lando.
A good demo, I look forward to playing the complete version :)
