This is a fun campaign with only Escape from Echo Base, and Hoth Asteroid Field. Comes with custom music, "Escape from Echo Base", "Hoth Asteroid Field" and "Boss Music". Thanks to Vampire Slayer for the Boss Music.
I will not be making the rest of SoTE, but I am working on a Dash Rendar campaign, taking place during and after Battle of Endor. |

Scenario One - Escape From Echo Base
Playability - Great, this was really fun and fast, and the music really creates a good atmosphere for the level. The triggers were well done, but kept simple and clean to keep the level pace up. Brilliant.
Balance - There were quite a few edgy moments when Dash was low on life, but there was nothing really challenging about it in any other way; just because there were a lot of stormtroopers.
Creativity - Well, this Echo Base is the finest I've seen, and definitely the most creative. The bridges over the clouds were a good idea, and the overall design was something new and good.
Map Design - Well, this is by far the best Echo Base terrain I have seen yet, and one of the best indoor terrains. It is non-linear and really gives the feeling you are inside a real base. There were a few good touches, like the cloud bridges and the Wampas in the building.
Story/Instructions - Nothing special but clear what your task was. Adequete, but not breathtaking.
Scenario 2 - Hoth Asteroid Field
Playability - This one no way compared to the first, but it still managed to be fun, despite how short and easy it was.
Balance - Well, this was one of the easiest scenarios I have ever played. I don't think it was possible to lose. I liked the way you could kill ships with one blow, but I suggest giving the TIEs more numbers and greater attack.
Creativity - There was nothing particularly creative about this level, although the Star Destroyers at the start were a nice touch.
Map Design - It is alomost impossible to make an outstanding looking space level, and this was no exception, although the terrain on the asteroids gave it more of a feel of reality.
Overall, a brilliant first level let down (slightly) by the second. It was fast and frantic all the way through and I highly recommend this campaign to anyone wishing for a fun time! |

Ok, this is my fist comment. I palyed in SOTE campaign. By this time I liked Dash Rendar. I decided to download this campaign, because I saw that Dash Rendar is main hero of it. Ok, now the comment :
Campaign is OK, nothing special, just alright. But it could be much better.
Playability - Just good. The campaign makes fun but ends very fast. Only two scenarios, this isn't very much. But if you are looking short campaign and you want to have a fun, download it.
Balance - as I say, the campaign is very short. And easy. Is that good. I don't know. There aren't many enemies' units (only stormtrooper in first level and Tie Fighters in second level). You could give him stronger power.
Creativity - well, this is a normal campaign - without new ideas. But at the end of first level you fight with the boss. And music is great. Good idea.
Map Design - brilliant. Everything is cool, except one thing. Echo Base isn't Cloud City, so clouds shoudn't be there. And also you could put Rebel Trooper on the map. It will make better atmosphere.
Story/Instructions - could be better. There aren't many triggers. You fight against Empire and you have to escape from the base. If you look action sequences, you don't find them here.
In summary - author is able to make a great campaign ,but he should hard work. Good Luck ! |
