PLAYABILITY - 4
I found the level to be very playable, although it did follow a linear path - there wasn't much chance to explore and examine the surroundings. But good triggerwork meant that everything ran smoothly and I was pleased with the Anakin used - I half-expected to be given the little boy who can't do anything. I would probably play this again if I felt like it - it wasn't boring in any respect.

BALANCE - 3
The game was generally balanced, although there was some points I felt that it could have been made a little easier. Being shot by about five trandoshans and an ion-acu accelerated advanced turret at the same time did lead to many restarts, as did having four or five Sith knights thrown at you every five or so minutes. But generally the balance was OK.

CREATIVITY - 4
There was some very creative triggerwork seen in this level, although nothing new. I liked the battle at the start, but we had already seen something very similiar in 'The Phantom Menace' campaign. But althogether the scenario was very creative - it also managed to mix two styles (RPG and B&D) very well.

MAP DESIGN - 5
From the metal halls of Lord Sidious' palace to the lush, mysterious Paradise Grove to the dense greenery of Kashyyyk, the map design on this level stood out. It cannot be described, it must be seen to be fully admired. An excellent effort.

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS - 4
A descent story - Darth Maul is cloned using DNA, and the clones must be stopped. Weve heard it all before, although this designer throws a whole new light on it by including Kashyyyk and Obi-Wan/Anakin into the story. The instructions were very good also, although Anakin's name was mis-spelt!

OVERALL
An experienced designer would be proud of this level, so the fact that it is the designer's first is outstanding. It chronicles an epic struggle against evil admirably, and is a definite reccomendation. The designer obiously spent many hours working on this, and his hard work has paid off with an excellent game.
