This is one of the scenario in the Campaign i am working on call "The Journal of Helion Trepebush". It is base on the planet Cordia 4. When the Emperor disolved the senate, the Head Administrator of Cordia 4 declared it support to the Rebel Alliance. Helion Trepebush is a captain in one of the Resistance Force. Being a outer rim world it is expected that the imperial won't arrive to Cordia 4 anytime soon. However this was not the case. The Imperial arrive and attack with such ferocity that many believe that they were after more than just putting down a rebellion.
After a planetary bombardment which killed the Head Administor and leveled most cities on Cordia 4, Helion take what is left of this force and head north into the mountainous region of Cordia. There he received news of 2 rebel transport that have breach the imperial blockade and landed in a town call Bastion. He leads this force to bastion and hope to get off the planet alive. |

Playability 4
A Stunning game play, and a really well done RPG. Only I problem I had with it, was the gameplay was too easy!
Balance 4
Really not hard at all, but still deserves a four.
Creativity 5
Nothing new to this. It follows the standereds that all RPG's should have. Still deserves a 5
Map Design 5
A stunning show of snowy terrain! People will be using this design for ever! ;)
Story / Instructions 4
In some cases, the talking lasted to long which really is not a problem. The main thing I disliked is that he really probably doesn't know how to clear the instructions from the screen when they have been completed. They filled the instruction page up with completed missions. The Story was great though. :)
All around RPG, enjoyable and fun to play. I am looking forward to more from this maker! |

Playability: The scenario was alot of fun, but a little irritating to have so many heros that "must survive". It became a little complicated to keep track of them all when being attacked and ruined some of the fun factor to the game.
Balance Through the begging of the game, the map was extremely easy, but later picked up on difficulty once you encounter a somewhat large group of bounty hunters that can easiliy strike down one of the many heros you have to keep track of.
Creativity The game was pretty creative, you set off on a journey to a town in the northern part of the map and come across a few side quest along the way. One thing I found very creative was the way the author set up a crashed Transport with a trail of dirt behind it to show that it skid across the land. Other things included burning buildings, which has been used often in AoK, but still very new to SWGB. Very Creative. :)
Map Design The map design was fairly good, but I felt it could have had a little more detail. For the most part it has snow and Redwood trees, but not very much snow-dirt terrains and not detailed enough with terrian eye-candy to recieve a 5. But still, a very well job done by the author.
Story/Instructions Throughout the game, the instructions were very clear and the story was pretty interresting.
Overall, this was a very well done RPG and well worth a 4.2 score. Good Job, GhostBear_74! |

Playability:
The playability was great! Those ambushes kept you alert.
Balance:
Sometimes the bounty hunter ambushes were a little bit too much for my heroes. But aside from that, the balance was ok.
Creativity:
That was great too! The journey to the town at the north, and the characters you met during that journey were very creative.
Map Design:
The map design was good, sometimes the player had the ability to take some short cuts instead of following the road
Story / Instructions
Were very clear. The story line was creative too! |

Lovely scenario! I had a lot of fun playing this scenario - everything was well thought out and executed well. The beginning was fairly easy, but you never knew what was coming, so it was still exciting. The end battle was great; lots of tense action there. The characters were well-portrayed; the dialog good. The missions made sense and were creative. Map design was up-to-par, it was enjoyable to simply look at the environment. (esp. liked the crashed rebel transport skid marks)
I would recommend this campaign to anyone to who wants a fun time. :) |

Overall a quite good scenario. Fun quests and a couple of nice details in the map design (like the crashed transport).
PLAYABILITY-4
The game is pretty straightforward : just follow the yellow, ehhh... grey brick road. I really liked the (optional) subquests. The roadblock/landslide was a nice idea. It would have been nice if the artifact/hyperdrive quest would have had more of a consequence/reward. The end battle had a lot of suspense, and had more of a 'Hoth' feel then any Hoth maps I've seen sofar (try copy/paste and submitting it as a Hoth map ;-)). The only 'Bug' I found was that you can go directly from Panaka's base to Bastion (through the trees), without having to pass the roadblock or the landslide.
Running back and forth across a large map between quest locations was a bit boring though.
BALANCE-4
The troopers were very weak against the bounty hunters you encounter at the start... I would have liked to have fewer, yet slightly more powerfull units. Helion seemed to be a bit overpowered (+51 damage?!?!)... Fewer useless units to babysit (like the droids and Sandov) would have been nicer, but that's difficult to do when you're trying to convey a story. And besides, you provided an assault mech to dump them in :)
CREATIVITY-5
Nothing really innovative, but original nevertheless... Nice missions, and some nice touches when it comes to map design.
MAP DESIGN-4
A couple of nice touches, with the mountains and the transport and all. After awile it got a bit plain though. The cities could also have been nicer (bigger, more eye-candy). Still a 4.
STORY/INSTUCTIONS
A considerable number of spelling mistakes, but still understandable. The way the map designer wrote the story as a journal was a nice touch, which brings the grade up to a 4.
Plus Points
+good game play, no bugs
+nice and original missions
+the map design had a couple of nice touches...
Minus Points
-... but got a bit plain and boring after a while
-the optional missions would have been the best... had they had some significance or a reward
-lots of walking back and forth if you do decide to do the subquests
-weak troopers vs. strong bounty hunters
We should congratulate the author for a campaign well done. Good luck with the other missions. JamesMartigo |

Playability: This was very good the second time around, once I had worked out which order to complete the objectives in! First time around I got to Bastion through the trees before getting the hyperdrive, jedi, holocron or clearing the road block. This could have still worked save for the infinite empire attack loop - the 5 or 6 waves before transports are repaired was ok, 10 was a challenge, but after 20 waves poor old Helion was left on his own wondering when it would ever end...
Balance: Good but slightly too easy. Bounty hunters were no match for Helion guarded with the troops and the 2 medics.
Creativity: Same as other peoples comments.
Map Design: Excellent, except the road block doesn't stop you getting to Bastion.
Story: All pretty good except for the holocron hanging about in the middle of nowhere for safe keeping. I also thought that Lord Panaka was rather selfish after you'd fixed his hyperdrive - There must be room in his ship for at least some of the characters! |
