PART 2 - SWAMPS OF NABOO


Qui-Gon Jinn has landed on the planet Naboo. As he flees from the droids through the swamps of Naboo, he ran into a local named Jar Jar Binks and saved him from the droids crashing though the woods. By demands of Jar Jar's gods, he must serve a life dept to any who saves his life. While Qui-Gon waits for his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, he sends Jar Jar to help find him. Obi-Wan Kenobi now lands on the planet in search for his master....

Jar Jar Binks will lead you to Qui-Gon Jinn throughout the scenario. What you have to do is battle Trade Federation droids through the swamps of Naboo and search for supply boxes that contain Health Continers in them, but some contain Destroyer Droids in them so be careful. Make sure you save at the save points. And read the Intellegence section, you might need it to better understand how to get past a part near the end.

This scenario is one of the scenarios that will go with a Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace campaign I may make later. If you played the game The Phantom Menace, this is sorta simular to the second level.

I just thought I'd point out that its "Part 2". So for now it will leave you in the dark about the characters if you never saw the movie, but they are to be introduced in "Part 1" of the campaign. I just felt like making part 2 first. ;-)

And when choosing a difficulty... If you choose easy, expect the game to be real easy. I'd only recomend playing it on easy if your new to the game and aren't very skilled at all. I'd recomend everyone to play it on Moderate, the balance of the game is mostly based on moderate difficulty. Now if you choose Hard, I suggest to not spend your time attacking droids, cause you'll never win. Playing on hard is a real challenge and your best off to flee from all the Trooper droids. The Trade Federation will end up sending all the units in the area to hunt you down once a droid spots you, so you don't want to stick around fighting them all. ;-)

I also updated the scenario and fixed some problems that occured when playing on hard that made it nearly impossible to win.

Here's my comments on your review:

"I played this scenario on moderate difficulty, and for the most part it wasn't very hard. You play as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and sometimes it can be a little anoying to attack troopers with a melee unit, since they tend to run away. If they troopers were on stand ground, it would be a little less frustrating, but perhaps a bit to easy."

Yep, It would be to easy if they stood still. I based the balance on the fact that they do run away. But if you play on easy, they don't run away as much and that's what makes the easy level very easy.

"The last part where you have to sneak through a federation base is very hard, but it can be done."

The trade Federation base is sorta a surprise to the player. The only extra tips I have for people is to be quick and try to collect Supply Boxes that are in the open and not in groups. I expected trial and error to be a key to playing that part, so make sure you save!
