The SWGB Olympic game.
These are all for six players but most can be played equally well with less, and some with more players. Not much point in playing them against the computer though.
There is very little commentary. There are no dialogue cutaways. None of the competitors are interviewed on the holonet sports channel. If you'd like to add any such embelishments, by all means feel free to do so.
I don't see the point; but if you enjoy it more that way then I'm happy too.
Special mention goes to ISOmetric for suggesting an olympic game instead of the live multiplayer tournament I had first envisaged. Having said that, the best way to play this would be to open an olympic game room in Gameranger. If I see one, I'll join.
Special thanks go to Peanutbutterjam for putting the idea in my head, Sevshearer and General_Rhys_Dallows for their support when I first suggested this, and everyone who poured cold water and threw wet blankets in just such a way that made me so determined to finish it.
Event 1. The Marathon. Bounty hunters are under starter's orders as we join this simple and straightforward event. What a nice way to explore this city for the first time. Checkpoints guide you round the course. You may also notice the first signs of unrest.

Event 2. The rowing. With the city bridges temporarily removed for this event, the river is a powerboat course for the day. The Federation finally see their chance to disrupt events here though.

Event 3. The mixed doubles. This sees players 1 2 3 and 4 compete against players 5 and 6. This may seem unfair, but in mixed doubles it's about teamwork. 2 players co-operate easier than 4. This is a close range spawning fest, so tactics are also key.

Event 4. Nerf Herding. Ah yes. one man and his nerf. Great for a laugh, but this is for Olympic Gold! Acumulate 2000 food to win. Who knows, it may catch on.

Event 5. Pitch invasion. There's uproar and chaos when the Federation stage a pitch invasion from orbit. Each player's special units are already in the stadium and the olympic villages are put on a war footing. This runs smoothly with 2-8 players, and even works as a single player challenge.

Event 6. The Olympic Battle This is a straightforward battle resulting from the diplomatic failure. I do so enjoy those, and this HAD to come to all out war.
I'm always happy for scenario designers to edit my scenarios. This one's no exception. Just remember to change the filename. ---joegreenthumbs@live.co.uk---

Playability: 3
Difficult to play without a multitude of players. Also would be nice if the allegiance of the civs between Naboo host and TF terrorists changed. Also, remove the holonet tech in mission 1 as it makes finding the next checkpoint difficult.

Balance: 3
The number 1 civ to play is the Naboo team - the worst nation to play. The other teams are better for military action.

Creativity: 5
Very ingenious.

Very detailed

Story/Instructions: 2
Little here, but mostly straightforward.
