Author File Description
File Details
Clone Campaigns required?: Yes
Style: Fixed Force
This is just a little map that will be in my upcomming campaign "SW:TCW Recreation". I am also working on a "SW Episode III" Campaign, which is almost done, I will release a demo, soon.

This is JUST a demo,I will release another demo with editable maps. (The Episode III Campaign & Demo will be editable, too!!)

So... yeah, this is my first SUBMITTED file. I am VERY good with triggers and such, I just haven't ever uploaded anything else.

Have Fun!! :D

Playability: 2

You start with a few units, which got a high amount of HP, and I mean high. However, when the screen switches to some random battle location, they already run off to fight the 500 enemy units - so it's hard to even find your heroes again. If the difficulty is set to "easy" you just have to do nothing at all, just waiting until the waves of enemy groups die in the fire of your aircruisers and assaultmechs. Oh, better to set the cruisers to "passive" or else they might kill your own troops.

Balance: 1
Incredibly inbalanced. Way too easy, no matter what difficulty setting. Enemy has no AA, with the exception of 2 or maybe 3 decimators, which just die in the laser rain like anything else. The player also has workers, and the ominous number of "99999" resources of each type, while the enemy has nothing at all.

Creativity: 3
Never played a campaign about Raxus Prime so far, however the use of 18 triggers, setting extreme HP modifications (while leaving attack untouched) is not what I expected from someone "good with triggers".

Map Design: 3
Raxus Prime... A junkyard planet with poisonous atmosphere, but I didn't expect to see a lot of lava there. And I certainly didn't expect to find a few of my own starting troops standing INSIDE the lava.

Story/Instructions: 3
There are no parallels to any story I was aware of. Maybe Aayla really led an army of clones against the scavengers, but there was simply nothing explaining the situation you were in. So you kill "this guy" with 10.000 HP, and "that guy" with 20.000 HP just to get a gate unlocked. There is also no way to "win" unless you destroy every troop center and factory of the enemies. Or if there was a triggered win, I never saw an explanation on how to win otherwise.

Additional Comments:

A typical starter scenario. 120 own troops against 500 enemies. A lot of pew pew, but no tactics at all. The gametimer showed me about 30 minutes, which is 15 minutes in real-time. You can be much faster by sending the aircruisers to the enemy base and wiping the boss and his troops from above. Didn't try it though.

To the author: I suggest you test your maps, and think of the point of the fight, and why you got some additional base to collect resources, if you don't even have to produce a single trooper recruit in order to win. It's a nice try for an "epic battle", but there's a lot of room for improvement. Start with balancing out the hero / boss healthpoints maybe...
