The Rebel Alliance's base on Hoth has been found. The Rebels need to hold out long enough to escape against a horde of Imperial walkers and troops.
FEATURES
-The unique unit acquistion system originally realeased in my scenario "The Hunt" (Much improved, of course).
-Hoth map designed by AGENCY_SEACKER.
-Perk system, letting a player choose from anything from bonus units and heroes to extra HP and attack for key units
-Epic mass battle, capable of reaching well over 1,000 units.
-The Battle of Hoth as YOU want it played. Choose the balance of your forces carefully. No game needs to be played the same way twice.

Great Game!!!! Loved the mass battle feel. Perks were cool, and the base entrances added a lot of strategy.
Balance: 4
It might be skewed toward Imps. IDK, but it seemed like the rebels jsut got took out by the atat's way too easy.
Creativity: 4
Well, it is another hoth mission, but i like how only units that were actually there are used (for the most part)
Map Design: 5
WOW. Amazing map The Star Desrtoyer is pretty cool, and ehco base is jsut awesome. best hoth map i've seen
Story/Instructions: 5
There were a ton of objecitves and instructions, so the first time i was already being attaced by the walkers before i could read em all, but they were gave enough info for sure.
Additional Comments:
I like how the heros upgrade over time
they gave the stormies some trouble towards the end. Had with 200+ hp and 50+ attack! Great mission, almost perfecdt.

Wow, what can I say. Definately ALOT of un here. It was however slightly confusing at the beginning in regards to perks but I soon figured out what you were supposed to do. I played this with a freind LAN and we both enjoyed launching mass troops at one another.
Balance: 4
This was well maintained but as stated above, slightly tilted in the Empire's advantage (Mass Assualt Mech anyone?) however I managed to hold my own, it gets a 4.
Creativity: 5
Very creative, alot of trigger work noted and all and all is very well put together. Somethings confused me like the wampas in the base (experiment?) but otherwise good 5.
Map Design: 5
Sweet Jesus, this is a VERY well put together map. Echo Base is fanatastic and thes star destroyer too. well deserved 5
Story/Instructions: 3
This is what I found a little bit disapointing. The instructios were detailed but not clear (If that makes sense). They took a long time to decipher which you dont really want to do when AT-ATs are knocking on your dorrstep. 3 from me.
Additional Comments:
Well worth downloading, best played multiplayer but single player is just as fun. |

Thanks alot for the reviews to both of you, comming from Mantlefan and myself, also I want to give special thanks to King Mario for playtesting and sharing ideas, any more reviews are perfectly welcome, and help alot to deliver better quality scenarios.[Edited on 11/24/09 @ 11:16 PM]

one thing to note: if the unit count gets too high, the game is prone to crash. Over 1500 is where I personally have had problems. |

Amazingly Fun!!!!! I LOVED how many units we both had. So much better when we blow past the pop limit. Lots of action
Balance: 5
I was able to win as both the rebels and the imperials when I played versis my cousin. He beat me once as Empire. But he can't win as rebels against me, maybe it's just that I'm a better player! :)
Creativity: 5
I thought the unit system was cool. My cousin didn;t like how we only got like 5 units, but, it was hoth almost perfectly. I didn;t like how there were a bunch of pummels in the campaign one.
Map Design: 5
Best map I've probably ever seen. Echo base was just redonk. It's probably worth a downlaod jsut for the map.
Story/Instructions: 5
Dieretions were LONG, but it's better than none at all. This was complex, so it made sense to have them long. It's just that a new player needs to read the instructions while the veteran can jsut start. But, that's fair. No one should win the first time the paly anyways lol.
Additional Comments:
A+ Best hoth I've played.ALMOST perfect recreatin of the battle. |

Amazing, no glitches or anything, I loved the mass battle feel. Usually I hate huge armies vs eachother, but this worked perfectly.
Balance: 5
Slightly tilted in Empire's favour, but that's what it was like in the movie so no complaints there :)
Creativity: 4
It's another Hoth war, but it was moulded perfectly around the movie version, so I'll give it a 4.
Map Design: 5
The best bit. Truly spectacular map design, the Empires base was well defended, along with the troop production area being well organized and spacious so troops can mass. The Rebels have a perfectly designed base, I especially loved the trenches, turrets and power generator area.
Story/Instructions: 5
The objectives were long, detailed, and to the point. I read through them once and started to play immediately (against the maker, mantlefan). I knew what I needed to do next and had detailed descriptions if I forgot.
Additional Comments:
Worth a download just for the spectacular level design. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in multiplayer scenarios. |

To be honest I'm only doing this as a review because the comments button is broken.
I just have a question. Is it physically possible for the empire to defeat Luke's Snowspeeder in this map if P1 has the upgrade, and P1 is good at manoeuvring air units?
I just played a game on this map and the last hour involved the host using this unit to chase down just about every unit (including anti air).
It does not help that anti air are slow and they don't have the tech for tracking missiles. |

Yes, it can be destroyed, you just need to be really good at luring the speeder out and ambushing it. |

I tried that. The host was aware of this 'luring' tactic so he kept pulling it out every single time I had AA underneath or near it (this particular host is used to playing RPG style maps which is basically what you do the whole game).
The self-healing also counteracts the small amount of damage that was being done.
It seems like a bit of a flaw. |
