This is about Jaden Korr destroying the turbolaser batteries on a Imperial Star Destroyer, the Reprisal. You will travel across sewers and hallways, and battle Sith.
It's my second scenario to come to SWGB, but rate me hard, cause I sent the first at the same time. Besides, I want to get better.
Mods,Sounds, and AIs required are included.

Before I go on reviewing this, there is a glitch in the level.
Once the Sith Interceptor is destroyed, the player gets caught in a looping task trigger, forcing you into the explosion, and ending the scenario. |

It's supposed to. You have to walk through the gate to turn it off.
I'll extend the time it takes to task you, though. I always thought that may have been a little too hard.
Anyway, updated now. |

Playability: 3
Much improved over the last one. Having a Jedi instead of a Recruit makes things a lot smoother. However, even after you fixed the Sith Interceptor's charge, the game still crashed upon reaching the garbage-storing area. It might just be my computer, but I'd look into that.
==========
Balance: 3
From the start, there aren't any real significant threats, but if you're not paying attention with the Sith Interceptor explodes, you'll be dusted off in no time. I couldn't get much further due to the garbage chute, but from what I have seen, it's much improved over your first scenario. Good work.
==========
Creativity: 3
What's here isn't bad, but it isn't perfect either, and most of it falls on the design of the Star Destroyer. The story seems like it's going somewhere, though.
==========
Map Design: 2
Imperial Walls aren't the best thing to use when building a base or spacecraft interior. Try using Republic Walls, as well as Space Walls 3/4 for a good effect. The transition from metal to snow to grass didn't really feel natural either. If those areas were supposed to be used for training as the character says, they seem a bit small.
==========
Story/Instructions: 4
This has probably been the largest improvement. The story is more developed and there's more to read. The only problem I can think of off the top of my head would be some spelling/grammatical errors, but those are easy to shrug off.
==========
Additional Comments:
Much improved from your previous upload, but still needs some work.
I'd recommend that you download "The Phantom Menace" campaign, available in the Campaign download section for an idea on how to make space station/shuttle interiors.
Good work.[Edited on 11/07/09 @ 11:07 PM]

Thanks. I'll take the wall tip in consideration, I never thought of that.
As for the garbage bug, it doesn't happen on my computer, but I'll still look for some sort of problem to correct it.
Thanks for the compliments on the story. I'm trying to keep things based on one story line, and I think I'll stick with doing things like this.
'Phantom Menace Campaign', huh...alright, I'll check it. |

It looks a lot better now. It still crashes in the sewer for me, but I'll try and fix it, and then I'll update my review. |

Playability: 3
The map was nice to play, I didn't find any bugs, with the exception of being unable to unlock the gate from the ice field to the grasslands. (I switched to enemy and killed it ^^)
Balance: 1
Totally unbalanced game, the enemy got absolutely 0 chance. The Bacta things even put more bias to the balance.
Creativity: 3
Pretty nice triggering, you sent the player to different areas by warping, still I don't know if the warps are neccessary. Walking to the sewers just to reach the sewers... Speaking of sewers... the half of the spaceship *IS* a sewer xD. Nice idea of using destroyers to fight on shallows, still they might need more attack to be something like a threat.
Map Design: 3
A solid spaceship. Nothing really worth mentioning. The idea of climate controlled rooms is good, still I don't think a spaceship carries mountains of ice inside.
Story/Instructions: 2
It was kinda clear what to do, however I didn't get why I died in the sewers for no specific reason. I used a map reveal cheat to look for the reason, there was a spacewall dis/appearing all the time. In case I died due to airshortage, why didn't you give ANY hint? I didn't even *see* the airlock before losing my life. If you use more map revealers it could help a lot in boosting your instructions rating.
Additional Comments:
Nothing above average, but still, nice work |
