Jedi Force Powers - Part 4
This modpack gives special powers to several heroes from the original trilogy. You can train these heroes in a regular game:
Luke Skywalker ..... Rebel Fortress
Yoda ..... Rebel Jedi Temple
Darth Vader ..... Imperial Fortress
Palpatine ..... Imperial Sith Temple
Boba Fett ..... Hutt Fortress
Force Powers
Each Force hero has two attack modes: LIGHTSABER and FORCE.
In LIGHTSABER mode, the hero fights with his lightsaber, and is hidden by stealth. In FORCE mode, the hero attacks with a Force power, and moves with Force-Jump. (Boba Fett has similar abilities, but he uses conventional weapons).
To switch modes, click the Next Power icon: , or type hotkey P.
Hutt Civilization
The Trade Federation has been converted into the Hutt Civilization. The Hutt use a combination of Tatooine and Trade-Federation technology. For example, they can build Tusken Raiders, as well as Destroyer Droids. See below for a complete list of Hutt units.
Unique Starships
The Rebels, the Empire, and the Hutt can build unique starships:
Rebels ..... Blockade Runner, Millenium Falcon
Empire ..... Star Destroyer, Super Star Destroyer
Hutt ..... Stealth Air Cruiser, Slave 1
These ships have a garrison capacity, so they can carry most military units (troopers, mechs, jedi and heroes). Star Destroyers can also carry fighters, bombers and air transports.
Each civ gets a special bonus for their unique ships: Rebel ships are faster; Imperial ships are stronger; Hutt ships have stealth.

Special Features
Tusken Raiders can switch between club and rifle.
Solo, Piett, Jabba and the Sandcrawler can fire at air and ground.
Chewbacca, Veers and Fortuna have a bonus vs mechs.
Explosive Ewoks, Droids and Jawas have a bonus vs buildings.

Hi Bantha Bob, I truly loved what you have done with this but something is bad, in fact, when i install one jedi forcepower, it erase all the others, i would like to know how to install all of them together without erasing anything and if you don't know, could you put every parts of the jedi force powers 4 in different files so they would be installed with an easier way. Furthermore, there is a problem with Darth Vader, Palpatine and all Jedi Sith heroes, they attack only buildings and we have to tell them to attack for each ennemies and if we don't they die stupidly. Please find some answers. Thanks |

The reason you can't install all 4 mods at the same time is because each one uses a different version of the genie file. The genie file contains all the properties information for the units (hit points, speed, attack strength, etc). When you install a 'genie' mod like this, it actually replaces your copy of the genie file with a different one. Unlike graphics mods, which can be combined, genie mods are not compatible with each other. If you install several genie mods in a row, only the last one will actually take effect; the other ones are over-written. The only way I could combine all the Force mods together would be to create an entirely new mod, which contained all the data changes in one genie file. I could break the graphics up into smaller pieces, as you suggest, but you would still need the genie file in order for things to work properly.
I know what you mean about the hero attack behavior. The force heroes are cannon mods, which means they are actually cannons, which have been modified to look like people. Unfortunately, it seems that cannons are hard-coded to attack buildings, but they ignore other units, unless you tell them to attack. This makes sense most of the time, since if you order your cannon to attack a building, you want it to stay focussed on the building, and not get distracted by every unit that walks by. It's not so great if you want your hero to defend himself in combat, however. I would like to modify the cannon behavior so that it acts more like a regular unit, but I'm not sure how to do it. If anybody knows, please post!!
I hope this answers your questions. I will see if I can improve the technology in future mods.

Thak you for taking care of these problems, I hope you will find the ways to fix them in order to build one of the best mods ever made with all 4 jedi forcepowers which make the game better. |

Very cool Mod!! I am trying to make a mod where you can build heroes in random maps, but everytime i use the genied 2 ver 3 I save it, and I dont see any changes in the game, can you please help... |

I love this mod, however if you build a unit, and then your hero unit is in the query, you can build several hero units. I had 14 Darth Vaders running around, is there a fix for this?[Edited on 08/15/14 @ 09:51 PM]

Has anyone combined these yet? or are we still forced to play with only one jedi force power mod at a time? |

Awesome mod. i noticed you can only make one super star destroyer at a time. what makes that possible. i am attempting to do the same thing with my asajj ventress mod but cant figure it out? |
