The Scorpion Wars - Act 1

Author File Description
Squirp
File Details
Clone Campaigns required?: Yes
Style: Other
Number of scenarios: 5
This campaign takes place in the time of Episode I, uses characters from Episode I, and introduces new, powerful characters not portrayed in Episode I. This campaign also bends the storyline from Episode I.
This campaign is quite different. It is not really set in an RPG sort of format, but it uses quite a few triggers in some scenarios (although nowhere near as many as Blackmoon used in APT). It is my very first campaign and I believe that it is pretty entertaining.
If there are any problems, errors, or confusion, then please tell me or e-mail me at Squirp7@yahoo.com.
Thanks

Selur It's great, except for one thing... Squirb (sorry if I mis-spelled...) is invincible, same with the the Royal Gungans, the Royal Cruiser, and that Twi'Lek Guy...

Playability: 5
Anyone who can play a regular mission can play this.

Balance: 3
A few nearly indestructible heroes leading many weaker troops. Player who play for no casualties will tend to overuse the heroes. Also, starting in map 3, the player was in post tech level 4 with everyone else in tech level 1!

Creativity: 5
Reinvention of Episode I. Most people would not think of that.

Map Design: 3
Maps in general has a few nice areas with most of the maps not very detailed and purposefully forcing a long route especially in space. The worst was a repeat of storyline in the Breakout /Space Battle/Tatooine landing missions. The last map was better designed, particularly the town, but all maps need increased variety in buildings and elevation (except the space maps).

Story/Instructions: 2
Like the military terms and feel. Hard to coordinate what to do and the progress of the mission.

Additional Comments:
I like the story of a militant Naboo with little regard for lives of soldiers (fits their role as the most aggressive civ in SWGB). However, the story cut off without a resolution.

Thank you for the constructive criticism, I know that the first few scenarios are ridiculously easy, and that the main characters are pretty much invincible ... there is another act coming ... that's why it is called act I, else I wouldn't have bothered calling it act I. Anyway, thanks, and just know that the next act will be a lot bette (or at least should be ...)
oh_em_gee it sounds kool... im gonna download and review
