War! The Galaxy has been engulfed in chaos as the forces of the Republic and CIS clash in an epic battle the likes of which the universe has never seen. Now it’s your turn to play. Star Wars Galaxy in Turmoil puts you in control of the action. Command the forces of the Republic or CIS in massive fighting that spans across the entire galaxy.
Features
-Interactive Environments
Animals respawn, predators actually attack settlements and are dangerous (ex: A Wampa can take out a large group of troopers if they come to close). No more useless eye candy! Buildings actually have a purpose and generate units or resources until they are destroyed. Weather is now also a factor. Planets with snow have winter storms than can damage your troops, ect.
-Heroes
Choose from among six different heroes (Nute Gunray, Count Dooku, Palpatine, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, and Severance Tann, or for the Republic Palpatine, Mace Windu, Yoda, Obi wan, Echuu, and Anakin) to lead your forces. Each gives unique bonuses to your civilization. Some heroes gain hp or attack as time goes by and become stronger similar to a hero “level system”.
Republic Heroes
CIS Heroes
-New economy
Instead of harvesting resources each planet you control produces a specific resources for you. For each planet you conquer you receive more resources to fuel your economic expansion. However no building is obsolete! Creating buildings of each type on your planets give you access and production to different techs and units.
-New Interatcitve Space Combat
Better tactical space combat. Fighters and fleets now have position obstacles that they have to face like asteroid fields and black holes. Aircraft buildup is also changed; you can train anti-air troopers to become more advanced fighters as well as building normal less advanced fighters on your own.
-Critical Choices
You are head general and are presented with major tactical options and decisions. You can fund revolts on the enemy planets, develop unique weapons, and order huge offensives. You can reconstruct the historical campaigns of the Republic like the Jedi assault on Geonosis and sea borne invasion of Calamari or depart on your own path to victory, you decide!
-Galaxy Map
Planets are included from all three prequel films including Geonosis, Coursant, Naboo, Tatooine, Kamino, Mustafar, Utapau, and Kashyyyk. Additionally the planets of Calamari and Toola are also included. Each are accurately represent with correct terrain designs and other important structures.
Mustafar
Kashyyyk
Utapau

Really entretaining, i really felt like a commander leading one of the two sides in the clone wars, one of the few multiplayer maps that takes tactics and skills, really outdoing the game´s strategy, reinventing it, man you outdone even the deadly and myself on that, well done, all those neat triggers really keep you on the edge of your seat, doing all to avoid any system slipping through your thingers, my god even the AI was made inteligent, first time in my life i see that happen in this game, still theres a little more juice you can take out of this scenario, more other things you can upgrade like the way on conquering the planets, it would be funner to do it more like in battlefront II, with all the pretermined sentry posts, and its great how you limited the resources, but there should really be another ways for getting resources, at least much more ways to keep the action in motion, since i really missed being able to build a base, since in this game that is very hard, and you are concentrating your few resources on upgrading or creating and obtaining troops, EDIT: i played this online and it gets real confusing after a while as well as boring, since the action doesnt go on all the time, after a while you´ll notice how all action triggers or decision triggers have just consumed, you might as well loop such triggers and do more cinematic like triggers like exploding trigger objects you know which, and as i said it is so difficult to build a base so that is a mayor downer point
Balance: 5
Beautiful balance here, everyone gets the same chances on winning or loosing, theres not really a way on leaving anyone behind for far, theres always an air cruiser invasion awaiting to turn your planets into molten metal
Creativity: 5
I got to admit, you outdone all creativity possible for a multiplayer scenario, except for the deadly and his casttle oppositions, maybe you still got one or two things left for outdoing me on trigger creativity, but well you are not far from taking me off the trigger throne lol.
Map Design: 3
Well, this lacks a bit, still there are some attempts on making creative eye candy like the one at kamino, very clever on the gate walls combined with the space wall, real neat, still places like coruscant i do believe they need hand made buildings, with eye candy height, as well as eye candy made cruisers are really missing, it would be exciting to see a hand made republic star destroyer, it would give more essence to the game
Story/Instructions: 3
Well, instructions are real neat, still, i do believe you are missing the story, something to be worked on.
Additional Comments:
Man, this is rare for me, to give a high rating, and its not me, i just met my match on multiplayer scenarios, well done, you are really one of the few great multiplayer scenario designers ever been, im reliefed to know im replaceable, since all good multiplayer scenario designers had dissappeared, thought i was only one left, really well done, just modify the long name for the next time for successfull transfers ;)

Honestly, with all the bonus attacks (the ones where you move your hero or the worker to decide), it left no time to actually play, just to defend against all those attacks.
I played 3 or 4 times and it's just too chaotic. Wasn;t fun, whether I won or lost.
Balance: 3
It seemed like both sides were equally likely to win with the random nonsensical bonus attacks.
Creativity: 5
I would have liked a lot of the bonus stuff, if it didn't completely disrupt the game into making no sense.
Map Design: 5
Planets looked like what they were supposed to represent. Good job.
Story/Instructions: 5
It was pretty clear what was supposed to be going on. The planet system isn;t a bad way to do the clone wars.
Additional Comments:
Playing it sucked. Sorry, but that's just how it was for me personally. However, it was a beautiful map and it had some good ideas, even though when the bonuses were implemented in the way they were it ruined the game.
