Good Vs. Evil

Author File Description
File Details
Clone Campaigns required?: Yes
Style: Build and Destroy
Number of players: 1-8 (Works with AI)
This is a battle between Good and Evil. 4 start on the left (The Good) side of the map, 4 start on the right (The Evil). Both sides are separated by a small stream with only one bridge across. Odd numbered players are on the left and even numbered players are on the right. There is no real story so don't ask for one!

This is version 1 and is subject to editing when feedback arrives.

Have fun!

Just a note:

You can only build fortresses and command centers.

DO NOT SET ALLIES, it is preset.

I highly recommend locking teams.

Moderate AI or above works well (Have yet to try anything lower than moderate).

The rest should be fine.

Playability: 3
The scenario worked fine. The only problem was that it lagged pretty badly. I played it with AI but I immagine it would be even worse if you were trying to connect and play with someone else. Other than that this scenario pretty much played out as a fancy map set on death match.

Balance: 4
All players started out equally and the teams were well balanced. The only problem I had was that the enemy AI seemed a little bit too strong on this setting. You might want to change up each civilization a little to make it more equal.(The empire had a little bit too much of an advantage on land.

Creativity: 4
Maps have already been made before with a death match style to them. Yours was unique in the way the map was divided up and how the players had different style bases.

Map Design: 3
The map was decent. There was some eye candy like flowers and things, and some debris. However you could have used some elevation and terrain mixing would have been nice.

Story/Instructions: 3
Everything you needed to know was put down. It was a little bit too basic for my taste though. You might have wanted to add just a little something for recon to complete the instructions.

Additional Comments: This map type was very unique in the amount of huge battles it had. If you have a very fast computer and want a challange against AIs then this is a good scenario to download.

Thank you for the review, this is the first map I have really made and put some effort into. I am still getting used to the triggers and how the AI behaves. I am happy to at least get the basic layout of the map down so I can really edit it next time I get the chance (which might be a while). Thanks again for the review.

Hopefully I can get around to doing an updated version later with more background information and possibly more text etc. when players get defeated. I might even get some scripted events if I ever get a chance / learn how.

I can also get some more instructions to clear things up.

If you feel like changing things on my map don't be afraid. Just email me first if you are going to submit it!
