Grand Army Chronicles (diplomat)

Author File Description
File Details
Clone Campaigns required?: Yes
Style: Role Playing Only
Number of scenarios: 1
This is a short game
(trying to keep this place alive) roughly 40 triggers, nothing grand.

You play as "Hvy trooper" and called upon to serve as messenger/escort of the Bosses who decide go talk to the humans who wish to settle Naboo

A trigger im proud of:
You can mount/dismount the kaadu (a interesting little trigger)

Of course it was "playable." It was interesting to see something new like this.

Balance: 1
There was really no way to die, except in the first battle, in which I did, but did not suffer any consequences.

Creativity: 5
Very good ideas were used. The mount/dismount thing was cool and I like the idea that it was not about some white guy named Kyle.

Map Design: 5
Paths were nicely done: not just grass 1, but also some blending and trees were not isolated to the "wall" and were a bit scattered.

Story/Instructions: 5
The story was fine, but you should have said something about learning to dismount in the beginning--I had no idea how to at the start.

Additional Comments:
Pretty good scenario, but definitely not good in itself. Make a big campaign with build and destroy AND rpg elements using the mount/dismount trigger, and probably some "diplomatic" stuff and it'll be great.

Well it was playable, but not really fun. I also had this bug where I got more than one unit. Also your dialogue went a little too fast, and the objectives were incredibly boring. It was like go to this boss, and then go back to the general and then go to the army, it was just boring, no interaction just mindless walking and waiting.

Balance: 1
My allies killed everything for me. There wasn't even a challange in killing the captain. The repeater troopers killed everything in the battle before I could even blink. No balance at all.

Creativity: 2
It was a unique idea, which nets you more points. The problem was the fact that you didn't expand upon it more in the story and dialogue means you didn't exploit the full creative potential and it was overall very bland.

Map Design: 2
You made an effort I saw, but your map just wasn't good. The only nice part was the water city which was decent.

Story/Instructions: 1
I was completely lost at the start and didn't know what I was doing. Then once some objectives did show up there was almost no good plot to back them. Overall the mounting and dismounting was confusing and should have been explained here.

Additional Comments:
Not a horrible campaign but not one that I would recommend. Also what the heck was up with the end where they you said they didn't win, but who cares there frogs or something like that. (you could have made it longer and gotten a better score if you had expanded upon that.)

EDIT: Balance changed due to their being a slight challange at the start where you could have been slightly hurt by wild animals. Other than that my rating stands as it is.

Why don't you test ani's gone with the tuskens instead?
oh and see that it was on 40 triggers it's nothing grand, hmm maybe it's more interesting in a bigger campaign... naw i don't like hyperactive frogs
