Over three months after the release of my Episode III demo, I've finally completed the entire campaign. My goal in creating this campaign was this: To finally provide the members of SWGBH with a good Episode III campaign. Hopefully you'll find my campaign enjoyable. There are eleven scenarios, three of which are cinematics. In the playable levels you will usually guide Obi-wan, Anakin, or Yoda through the events of Episode III. I've stuck fairly strictly to the storyline, but there are still plenty of surprises for you. The type of levels range from fixed force, to RPG, to Build and Destroy, and most levels have at least 50 triggers, some with well over 100. The file includes all required or optional mods (all modders are given credit in the "Victory Message" of the final campaign), and a readme telling you how to set everything up. I'd appreciate any reviews; my demo was recieved well and I'm hoping the full campaign lives up to its expectations. Good luck, have fun, and may the Force be with you!

Playability: 4
There is a creative new staff such as the part you have to find a transport to the temple in "Return to Coruscant" and the part you have to search for a safe part of the cave in Utapau.I gave a 4 only because in the "Inside Invisible Hand" level, the cutscenes weren't working. If you didn't send me the scenarios I think I would never get to its end.A hint:Put everybody in IMOBILE AI in a cutscene and change the ownership from player 1 to other players.Other thing:It's not good to put the walls as your enemies.
Balance: 5
If you don't take care of yourself, you can easily get killed or defeated.
Creativity: 5
As I said there's new staff compared to the movie and the other campaigns.
Map Design: 4
It's very good,but I think you forgot the eye-candies.
Story/Instructions: 5
Clearly instructions and a good story, with cutscenes and staff like that to mantain you in front of the computer.
Additional Comments:
The only thing you should improve is the map designing and the playable levels' cutscenes. But this is a great campaign!A must download file![Edited on 09/27/06 @ 12:05 PM]

Hooray! A detailed review! Thanks Dark Master Lord. I appreciate the feedback. Yeah... The Invisible Hand scenario was one of my earlier ones and I hadn't quite gotten the hang of triggers yet. I'm also a total n00b when it comes to AI, but I'll look into it if I do another campaign with cutscenes. Thanks again, and good luck with your Battlefront II campaign.
200 downloads! Woot![Edited on 09/27/06 @ 03:19 PM]

Good work, Soyo_Dragon89 ! I had fun with that campaign.
I'm afraid I will not write a review this time.

That's ok, seedron. I know your busy and I have enough reviews by now anyway. Your positive feedback was enough. |

"gave a 4 only because in the "Inside Invisible Hand" level, the cutscenes weren't working."
No offense to you or to the designer, but if things aren't working, don't give it a high review.
And judging from the written parts of your review, I'm amazed that you rated it as highly as you did. The way you wrote makes it sound like the score should be really low.[Edited on 09/30/06 @ 08:01 PM]

Yeah, I even thought that DML's review was a little high (this is my first campaign, after all), though I'm certainly not complaining :-) |

Soyo why don't you fix the problem and update this!I tryied to put score high as I can because I don't agree with 3.6 that Deviss gave(wich wasn't a detailed review)and I would like to make the mean rate better. If I did something wrong, sorry, and forget the review and keep your work up!For someone that made this campaign alone is pretty good!Specially for a first try!Well, this is my opinion.MY opinion. |
