If you've ever read the Marvel comic series, Aduba-3 was one of the water planets that Luke crash landed on. The Empire has found the planet, but now it's being used as a base of operations by the Rebel Alliance. Your job is get to get Mara Jade in and out of Aduba-3 and destroy the Rebel base.

This is version 1.1. I've added a movie file (which will have to be manually updated by the administrators at a later date - file will exceed 2 megs), and increased the difficulty of the game. I've also included a bitmap image for the instructions screen.

Good Idea....much too easy. I played the scenario 3 times (on the 3 highest difficulty levels) and the longest it took was 18 minutes. I built 3 houses, spaceport, and airbase, and shipyard. I built some bombers and fighters and explored the map until I found the base. It had no air defence and 2 minutes later game over.

The map is a good layout with a lack of resources. If the Rebel Base was stronger or bigger the map would be a good (difficult) one.

Hopefully, it will be revised and re-submitted.

Well, I'd be lying if I said this scenario wasn't unique. It's essentially a water-based Build & Destroy scenario, only with very limited terrain and resources. Despite this, it manages to be functional, and even kind of enjoyable.

Balance: 2
Even though you are working with very limited build space and next to no resources, the scenario is still very easy to win. All you really need is a small but diverse navy to deal with most of the enemy defenders.

Creativity: 3
The concept is unique. You don't have enough terrain to construct a full base, and the only resource on the map is Fish, forcing you to use Spaceport trading to obtain most of your resources.

It's a neat idea that could make for some very challenging gameplay under the right circumstances, but this scenario sadly falls short of that potential.

Map Design: 2
The map is very basic, though not effortless. Over 90% of the map consists of water, though it is mixed nicely using all 3 depths. The actual base platforms are tricky to build on, so players have to be smart about how they plan their base construction. However, it still equates to flat slabs of Metal 2 and cliffs on water.

In short, it's not pretty, but it works.

There actually is a story to this. A few paragraphs worth of it. Although it doesn't really manifest itself when it comes to gameplay, it is well-written and clear, so there's that.

Additional Comments:
A scenario built on a unique concept, but it doesn't contain enough polished elements to really stand out as amazing. There is still some fun to be had, though.
