Two Seas by RF_Gandalf

Two Seas is a new rms for SWBG (adapted from my map for AOKTC of the same name) which has two unconnected seas around the edge of the map. It looks like Landmass (Continental from AOK) with 2 points of land jutting into opposite corners. Because these seas are not joined, large scale sea warfare is less possible and the seas are quite useful for food gathering. The seas are not quite as safe as in the Four Seas map also recently released. There are small ponds and inlets that partially separate teams, a little similar to the AOK Yucatan map. The terrain pattern randomly varies between 6 types of non-snow terrain. This map contains the usual randomized starting resources plus it always has 2 extra bantha or nerfs and a little extra Muja fruit bushes a little further from the starting command center. This map also has lots of shorefish and deep sea fish in the seas.

There are 6 terrain patterns, using the Lucas Arts naming system - Naboo, Reytha, Zaloriis, Kashyyyk, Yavin and Tatooine. The terrain and forest (or rock carbon in the case of Tatooine) types, and the food animal and predator types are as in the maps of those names. I realize that on the world Tatooine there are no oceans, so forgive me this slight indiscretion! Like the L.A. map of Tatooine, this planet or pattern has no Muja fruit bushes.

There are only 3 small differences from the usual Lucas Arts maps - the food randomization is a little more even, there is usually one less predator per player on the map, and since the coloclaw fish and opeesea killer are Naboo natives, they only appear on the Naboo pattern, making fishing safer on the other 5 patterns.

The main reason for this map is the difference in economic planning and military strategy needed to be successful!

Note that this map was revised because of a small bug causing extra holocrons on one of the terrain patterns - thanks to mameluke for pointing the problem out!

Updated 4/28/02 to eliminate the 'Gungan bug' which could place very large fish on the Gungan CCs.

Feedback appreciated!
