Thanks for your review Der Fai Ceron.
With this scenario is was pretty difficult to find a good balance between fun and difficulty. Since it's only one scenario instead of a campaign, I wanted to make it in such a way that you would have to play it several times before you were able to finish it. This to give it a higher replayability factor.
I tried to make so that you would have to complete at least two of the three subquests in order to finish the game. I've tried it, and I can skip any one subquest and still finish the game... if I skip two or all, fuhgetaboutit. If I do all subquests, I only lose about two planes (and all of the ground forces).
It's important to look out for little tips : if you see a lot of anti-air defences, use groundtroops, if you see a lot of anti-ground turrets, don't use your groundtroops there. If you see a light wall, try to break through. Routes guarded by medium walls or turrets are not meant to be taken.
I've submitted this scenario as a single player map in stead of a campaign, so that the plauer would be able to modify the scenario if needed.
I hope these tips will improve your gameplay experience.
elliottsmith This game is worth checking out just to see the great Death Star design...but it's also fun, and pretty cool. I completed it without too much difficulty, but I was being ultra cautious. I doubt I'll play it again, but others certainly will. Worth checking out...very cool, and well-done.

\"Death Star Assault\" is definitely beyond the worth of the download and the seconds to install and place the campaign within the folder. This is among my list of scenarios in which the authors put a great deal of effort into to it to achieve a wonderful game.

As far as Playability is concerned, I personally had a good time playing “Death Star Assault“. He gave great ways of playing with Star Fighters, and with a decent story to boot. There was ways to skip levels, one I noted was on the far side. I could slip by and get straight to the reactor.

The Balance is a issue, due to the levels of hardness included. I played it on easy, and found it very difficult to win the way the author wanted you to. I can just imagine hard or hardest when the units will come and gang up on you.

The Map Design of \"Death Star Assault\" was well done in the sense of giving the impression that you were fighting inside a giant space installation. There was no special eye candy tricks, but then again, space stations never had great abundances of eye capturing materials.

The Creativity was the best part of the scenario, and fully deserves the five in score I will give it. Completely original and complex in many ways. The ability to shut off shield generators, and the turning off of the “shield blockers” was new, and clearly impressed me.

The Instructions where very clear and I found no difficulty in understanding them and completing the side quests that they gave.

I encourage Fellow gamers to enjoy this great scenario. While it is difficult, it challenges the minds of the players in ways we can only imagine until you play.

Great job James!

Playability : 5 Runs great, wery well thought out.

Balance : 4 Impressive! Unit choice was almost perfect, it looked impossible but the scenario was set up just right to make it fun but not to hard or to easy, would be a 5 but I was victorious with ground force alone.

Creativity : 5 Very creative options that changed the way the scenario was played and besides I like a good space battle.

Map Design : 4 This map was not what I expected at all but it was well thought out.

Story/Instruc. : 5 Told me exactly what I needed to know, good bitmap with just enough of the story to remind you why you like Star Wars.

Hope this becomes a Campaign.

Playability:I really enjoyed playing this scenario. It was made intense because of all the anti-air things.

Balance:I thought it was a bt hard because to get your troops close enough to things they had to past many a turret.

Creativity:I gave it a 4 because you don't get many assault the Death Star missions. However it really is just something from the movies and not something you made yourself.

Map Design:The map was perfect in every aspect. Not a single piece of the death star was empty!

Story/Instructions:For a scenario you spent a lot of time on instrutions which makes a good scenario great!
