At first I assumed this was some sort of template. Like everybody else, I am new to the graphics set of SWGB and maybe somebody discovered a way to make a realistic-looking Death Star. I downloaded, and to my surprise, it looked nothing like the Death Star. I also realized that it was an actual playable scenario.

Playability:

Extremely poor. You've got a whole fleet of various different types of fighters, then you have to attack the "Death Star". This to me, is quite stupid. No strategy whatsoever, and no real action as the AA turrets will probably wipe you out anyway.

Balance:

Pretty poor. The HUGE amounts of AA vehicles and various fortresses meant there was very little thinking, and you had to use your air transparts to even be able to attack the main reactor with your Jedi Masters. But at least it was possible to win, so there is some credit for that.

Creativity:

Nothing creative. A fixed force wanting to penetrate enemy defenses and destroy an object is about the oldes idea I can think of. There was no innovation in the story either, since it was based on the movie.

Map Design:

Relatively poor. The metal terrain that was supposed to be the "Death Star" is flat and not surrounded by the "space wall" and "space hub" units that make it look 3D, so it didn't really meet the minimum requirements. Other than that it wasn't too horrible.

Story/Instructions:

No instructions whatsoever.I didn't even know I had to destroy something until I opend it up in the editor and looked at the triggers. There was also no story, as the only text in the game was "Vader is here!". So, need alot of improvement on this area.

Final Thoughts: I appreciate the author's efforts at scenario designing, just that he needs guidance and more work to become a master of the craft. Still the same saying: "Scenario design is 70% effort, 20% skill, and 10% talent." Nothing you can't accomplish with lots of work.
