This modpack includes graphics of Kyle Katarn, an Icon, and a language_x1.dll that changes the name of "Rand Talor" to "Kyle Katarn". Unzip Kyle Katarn Mod.mpi to your SWGB "Game" folder, which is likely at C:Program FilesLucas ArtsStar Wars Galactic BattlegroundsGame. To install the Kyle Katarn Mod, you will need to download the "SWGB Mod Installer" program at the Utility section of SWGB Heaven's Downloads section:

How to Install:
Click on the button called "Open Mod", then select "Kyle Katarn Mod.mpi". Once it opens, click on the button called "Install".
How to Uninstall:
After you have installed the modpack, click on the button called "Remove latest" to remove the modpack. But if "Kyle Katarn Mod" is not at the top of the list, you must remove all newer mods first.

The walking animation going diagonally () looks wonky. It is not a defect in the anchors, but an actual problem with the animation when some frames had to be removed.

After a lot to wait, the legendary Mod of Kyle Katarn has been published.
Great work of animation, personally found not him defects. The selection
of the sounds is very well, except for that of death; that sincerely seems
more suitable for when somebody finds a Health Pack that for somebody that
The character-victim has been wisely chosen.
The Icon is not very good but it works.
Without a doubt it is a mod made for an arduous use, I am already imagining
hundred of campaigns based on this popular character's adventures.
Is the cruel question imposed, how is it possible that Lucasarts has forgotten Kyle Katarn?
No matter this mod is fantastically made, maybe they should put him like part of a future expansion of the game.
Congratulations to the creators of this mod, and please correct that small error of the sound of the character's death.
I like the graphics! Except those small pink and white spots on the shadow. The decaying frame is weird too, because after a while he just disappears without decaying! And the icon looks too much computer-made.
The sounds ruined the most of the rating. Some sounds are still Rand Talors, and it is wrong dying sound. The "Argh!" sound is on the attacking sounds, if you haven't noticed.
This mod can be used for JK campaigns most. You CAN use it in other scenarios but it wouldn't fit as good.
Review Of "Kyle Katarn Mod" by Wok
Since this is one of the most popular requests since the dawn of modding, then obviously a lot of people will use it. The obvious use is in a Jedi Knight II scenario/campaign, but it can be used in any campaign, in any environment. Just rename it, and it could be anyone!
As we can expect from Izzy, this mod had great graphics. Although not as good as some of his other models, it was still great. I marked a point off here because the sounds were a bit dodgy. Only some of the sounds were replaced, so it sounded weird when it switched between Rand Talor and Kyle Katarn sounds. Also, a death sound replaced an attack sound, so sometimes when you told Kyle to attack, he screamed.
Overall, good presentation and a very useful mod, spoilt slightly by bad sounds
