THE FETT CHRONICLES review by BENDAK

PLAYABILITY: 4
Playability is the main focus of every scenario, so it is from this one. In other words, its awesome! Pinky made 2 boss battles (yes, two!), and they are both complete new too. Big props for El Pinko for that, cause new boss battles are a rare happening these days. Also, Pink Panther had a vehicle hijack, the good ol' ventilations tunnels with arcade things and, much more important, a good balance between things like boss battles, arcade shit etc. and the walkthroughhallway-shootenemy concept. Although the gameplay was pretty short (thats why a 4 not a 5), all of it was of Raven Studios quality, wich means the best you get. Good work!

BALANCE: 5
The balance was great, I died 1 time on every boss battle (so 2 in total) wich is great. Not too hard, and not too easy. The gameplay was a great challenge. You'r gettin the full points for this thing.

CREATIVITY: 4
Let's see, what have we got? Hmm, two all new and great boss battles, and two features that have been used. So, that is certainly good enough for a nice 4. Why not 5? The problem is that 2 new things aren't enough. A sort of taunt activated feature (like Taunt-Healthpacks) would be great and boost the creativity to a 4.5. Still, why not 5? A 5 for creativity is the most difficult thing to get in an scenario. It would have need like 4 new gameplay challenges/boss battles, a newly sort of feature that would be used through the whole scenario (like Force Powers etc.), and then ya got the 5. Anyways, gettin a 4 is a great job too. The boss battles were amazing new and fresh, simply, you must have checked it out!

MAP DESIGN: 5
This is Raven Studios quality. Expect a map that can't be any better then it is. Besides that, the map feels amazingly cool, and has the strange Pinko style, wich I can't describe much but some designers have their different design styles that are better then others. Pinky has one, and you see it clearly. He didn't elft any area too blank, or not created to the best. Only thing I could say was the Cantina, wich looked a bit strange with those Naboo canals, but still, it was one of the best cantina's I've seen.

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: 5
Many campaigns feature Jango or Boba Fett. Strange thing is, that all Fett campaigns suck. But, here's it, the first Fett scenario that is actually good (not good, amazing!). The Instructions were clear, although there ain't much to 'instruct' :p. The story is selfmade, not THAT original but very well done. All dialogue is OK, and the cutscenes are interesting to watch. Take the way it starts, not much scenario's have a that cool intro like this one.

CONCLUSION: 4.6
Damn, just download this amazing shit! You'll like it, I'm sure. I can tell you all of it is Raven Studios Quality (= best you can get). Pinky did a great job on his first (yes, first!) scenario, and I as playtester can say the other scenario's will own this one's ass easily! Expect some even better shit soon! Peace out.

Well I must say I'm quite impressed. I've had my eye on this for a while and I finally decided to download the demo - glad I did!

Playabillity:
I don't like to start on a negative comment but I thought, although not bad, was quite tame. You had to destroy Repeater Troopers and Jedi Knights all in the same way. Boba Fett is a skilled bounty hunter - show us some of his skills! No doubt you will later in the campaing though.

The boss battle confused me. On my first attempt, the A-Wing just killed me. On my second attempt, I went on the Switch at the top and that just made the B-Wing accesiabele...which didn't do anything, because it hardly had any effect on the A-Wing at all. I noticed some A-A Mobiles dotted around the hanger, were you meant to use them in some way? I just ran down an exploding corridor on my third attempt which activated a cutscene with a Jedi. Still, this is probably my mistake.

Balance:
Not too difficult, not too hard. I seem to remember one room had about six repetar troopers in which was quite overwhelming!

Creativity:
Boss battles are always good but you can just run down a corridor and get it over with within five seconds :{. Other than that, good. Nothing new or groundbreaking as such but still good!

Map Design:
This is where this scenario really shines. Reborn, the base was fantastic. And whereas most people (including me :p) just use sand mixed with sand 2 for deserts, you've just thrown that out of the window and created a realistic and brilliant looking desert. Great job!

Story/Instructions:
Nothing original. Although Darth Vader coming in at the end was very surprising! A nice twist and a good cliffhanger. Instructions were simple.
Now I know this sounds really fussy but I noticed a lot of times when playing that scenario that you don't always use capitals for words such as 'I'. I'm just advising you that the whole thing looks much more professinal and well-done if you use proper grammer (you did for the most part actually)

Conclusion: Pretty good demo, even if it was quite short. I'll be downloading the full version for sure.

Playability: 4
The playability is very well done, but, sometimes is hard, I mean, sometimes, the traps left you with low life and later, the heavy troopers came and they kill you.

Balance: 5
Nice balance, but still something is strange for me.

Creativity: 5
The creativity on this one is awsome, the missions are great, all the dialogues, and all that (censored by Delta62).

Map Design: 4
The maps are very well done, but, i don't love them, just are a little bit confusing sometimes.

Story/Instructions: 5
For me, this is one of the best stories of Bobba Fett, and the instructions are great, I love the journal-styled instruccions, and all that crap.
