Terrorists Hunt IV: Shadow of Terror

Part IV

Boba Fett and Pekt are prepared to stop the mining operations on Heret once and for all. Once they have snuck onto a Trade Federation ship, they can hunt down the clone of Darth Maul, the head of the mining operations on Heret. This would be a major blow to the SHADOW.

Playability: (4) The campaign was not a breakthrough or really superb, but i enjoyed playing through the various levels. There were no bugs, however, i feel that the 'Display Instructions' trigger was not used as it should in several parts of the campaign, as it was annoying to have to wait for around 20 seconds before i was told what to do on all of the scenarios. Also, i don't think the characters were portrayed very well at all, for instance: Boba fett asking politely and pekt saying 'thankyou' and they both had a generally jokey role in the campaign. The levels did become tiresome too as i paraded through the corridors blasting a group of enemies every now and then.

Balance: (4) This was one of the strongpoints of the campaign. Even through i feel that 5 medics is far too much to have in one scenario, i needed to use them on quite a few points, especially the 'Agents' i needed to engage, they were able to take out more than half of the Trandoshans i had and almost kill a hero.

Creativity: (3) The campaign storyline was an original and 'unique' to say the least. Its never been done before.
It seemed a bit far-fetched though. But there were no new aspects to gameplay, the creator could've used some of the already known tricks to make this score be higher.

Map Design: (3) The map design was strictly average. It was really nothing special, only slabs of metal with walls placed in rows. Although the creator did use some interior details like scaffholding and space walls as computer consoles. The map design can be greatly improved, it is however, above the standards of much of the scenarios uploaded nowadays. So i congratulate the creator on that.

Story/Instructions: (3) As i said earlier, the story was a little bizarre. And the objectives could use a little work too, they were too bland, and had no indication of how (or where to go if the objective was based on finding someone/something).

Overall, this campaign could use some work. But i did enjoy playing through some of the levels.
