This was a truly amazing campaign, but some small points let it down.
This was perfect, except that you failed to create map revealers showing your goal area in most objectives, you just had to flail around wildly to find your way. Otherwise, it was perfect.
Also the music gave a really good impression of the area and was a very nice touch!
This scenario was a bit too hard for the following reasons:
1)On the conveyer belt, unlike other scenarios with conveyer belts, the object was very hard to control and I was cursing repeatedly at the computer until my 6th try when I finally made it across.
2) In the frigate chase, it was all too easy to get killed by the Adv. Turrets and it took me 3 goes to do it.
Apart from this, this scenario had wonderful balance, not too easy and not too hard.
Wonderful! The trigger tricks and music really added to the feel. The Decimators as Lazer Cutters was great, and the AquaHarvesters were great as repair kits. Wonderful!
Map Design :5
Definantly the best part of the campaign, with a really swampy feel to those areas. The lake was done greatly and the base was very good. The landing site was amazingly good.
A very believable story that (however) only kept me semi-interested throughout the scenario as there was no real feel to the characters.
The instructions were clear, but lacked the afore-mentioned map revealers to aid you with them.
The bitmap looked vile when put on the game pallete, but was really good in it's un-palleted form.
All in all, a wonderful release! Definantly worth the download :-)! Great work Tungor!
Before i start id just like to say that this was an outsanding campaign by Emperor. Well done.
Playability 4 :
I had a lot of fun playing this. You were kept wanting to play more and if you died the game made you sub conciously want to keep at it. There wasnt much wrong with the playability. Only a few minor issues but you dont really notice them. The campaign has a lot of differant things to do making it a lot of fun.
Balance 4 :
The balance in this game was well done. It had its tricky bits most notably the conveyor belt (IMO). but what campaign doesnt. If this wasnt hard in places, it wouldnt really have the same feel to it. There were easy parts and difficult parts but overall it was a well balanced level.
Creativity 5 :
This was very creative. There were several new ideas and even things that had been done before were creativly modified. The music really added an eerie atmosphere.
Map Design 5 :
Some of the best i have ever seen (IMO). This was really well done and you can clearly see why he is the Head Map Designwer for PRP. He has clearly spent his time on the map and has paid close attention to detail.
Story/Instructions 4 :
The story was very good. It had a plot and some sub plots. I thought that the instructions were really well done. There was never a point where i didnt have a clue what to do.
An excellant level that the author should be extremely proud of. Well Done. If you havent already Downloaded this then do so now.
