HOME GUARD
Version 0.9
Requires the Clone Campaigns Expansion pack
Home Guard is a hectic build-and-destroy scenario in which you must hold and protect several key sites across the map, while simultaneously building a force large enough to assault the Confederate stronghold. With your production and resource gathering sites scattered across the map and an enemy that is powerful enough to strike very early in the game, can you still prevail and emerge triumphant?
History:
A solar system in the midst of the Clone War battles, your homeworld is being invaded by the Confederacy. The nations of the areas simply known as the South and Central Sector have already been captured, and the 'Feds are rapidly advancing into your homeland at the border of the North Sector (a.k.a. the United States of North Penninsula, or U.S.N.P.). Two days ago, a battle took place at the city of Lanse, resulting in a Confederacy take-over and the routing of almost the entire home guard/army force of the region.
You are the general of a battalion only 100 miles to the North-West of the city of Lanse. You are being ordered to immediately move to the Lanse Base Charlie-Fox II, where you will relieve the remaining forces of the Home Guard in the area, recapture the city of Lanse, and prevent the Confederacy from destroying or captuing the other targets in the region.
A large Republic task force, led by the cruiser REP INQUISITOR, is on its way to aid in the war effort, but until it arrives, the North Sector's border is in the hands of you and your fellow divisions in the Northern Sector. May the Force be with you!
Featues to be added in the next version:
Some more work put into the map itself.
Balance work and general tweaking.
A couple "fixes" to weird inconsistencies and whatnot.
To those reviewing this scenario:
Firstly, I'm working on an updated version, so while I highly appreciate feedback, I wouldn't advice writing a full-fledged review before 1.0 is out;).
Other than that, I would be very grateful if you followed the guidelines found in SCN PUNK's review writing tutorial. If you're merely posting a comment, such as "this is the best/worst scenario ever", please do not include a rating. Give me a rating only if you write a full review (and prefferably one with more than a single sentence to each rating category, such as "Playability: 5: Fun game with no bugs.").
THIS SCENARIO IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LCC. ELEMENTS TM & (C) LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LCC AND ITS LICENSORS. |

Story:I must say I am happy to see a scenario that takes place during an event that happened in the Star Wars Saga.
Balance: There is a great balance! The scenario is very challenging, yet, your opponent does not completely overwhelm you.
Map Design:The map design is very good. I can tell that you put some effort into it and worked hard. I like the idea of camouflaged buildings. and how you renamed lots of stuff.
Playability: Very Playable. I have enjoyed playing it over and over and discovering what i can do different every time
Creativity: All I can say is Very Good.
