Interesting turn of events, and quite frankly, I'm glad to see Filoni involved.
Perhaps an older Ahsoka Tano will appear in this series.
I personally hope they try to take a more series tone with the series, but some how the doubt of that eats away more than the Jar Jar Binks episodes of Clone Wars ever could. The Disney ownership is giving us new movies, the partnership with EA will give us new games; the next couple of years will determine whether or not we actually wanted any of it.
Whoa.

MLP season 3 also had only thirteen episodes (instead of the usual 26), but as far as I can tell that's Equestria Girls' fault.

Does that mean they'll be sending all the main characters to an Earth high school?

So... I have a theory. A theory that will upset most of you, but make someone very very happy.
I think Ahsoka is actually Fulcrum. Senator Data has been disproven. Fulcrum is involved with this mission... and the Inquisitor's line about a challenge.
Since he's fought and bested Kanaan, either Ezra suddenly becomes the Kwisatz Haderach, somehow fighting a totally untrained kid with a lightsaber and his half-dead master will be more of a challenge than, um, fighting them before but with the kid having only a slingshot... so, yeah. We need someone trained as a Jedi. And we know she had to show up sometime.
It also ties into Vader's appearance: this will be her end. And when Vader hears of Fulcrum's end and identity, he comes (thus allowing Vader to be on screen for two seconds that all of the fanboys are furiously... drooling over as if he's getting his own viewpoint season)... and thus so will end Inquisitor, too. He's too dangerous to the heroes to continue without getting the Worf Effect... but if he enrages Vader, or is considered too dangerous in-universe, well... <_<

I thought it had to be Ahsoka when the other guy went kaput. Not sure I agree entirely with the way you think it will pan out though.
First of all, this is still Star Wars and it's still stupid, so I reckon that it's possible, in fact likely, that Ezra will suddenly make some deeper connection to the force when he sees his master threatened or something. I think he may well ending up besting the inquisitor.
Which leaves Ahsoka. In the event that Ezra and Kanaan are both beaten, I think she will swoop in and save the day. I don't think that the show would let her be beaten... unfortunately, she's Ahsoka, so she might as well be invincible. My biggest worry is that she becomes a series regular...
Anyway, if it turns out that the inquisitor is beaten (by whoever) and survives, I'm not sure that Vader will kill him. It would fit with Vader's character and the darker turn the show has taken (killing off those two idiot sergeants) but I think the inquisitor has too much potential as a villain. I mean, they might be dumb and just wipe him out, but he can sell a lot more toys! And I'll be honest, I'm interested in him - we still don't know much beyond "generic villain", so I hope they don't just leave it at that. Even with Kallus there was a bit of history given, which I would like to see more of if it's not just swept under the rug or brought up routinely when he and Seb clash.

If that duel happens, it would be pretty ridiculous if Vader lost! I don't think it will come down to that though - maybe, but I think Vader will be more of an overshadowing presence through the series, the way early TCW Dooku was, not really getting fully involved.

Well, Ahsoka's back. And not in a blender. Impressive.
Watching the episodes now... hmm. Fulcrum sounds much more feminine than before. I wonder what that hints at... <_<
Also, I hate that all astromechs are apparently rocket droids. >_>

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... that was questionable. Also, the engine core seemed to have nothing to do with the giant 300-meter sphere that sticks out of the ship. And the launch bay had a single hangar and a ton of wall. And lightsabers are apparently explosive devices.

Woah, sorry if it's been addressed before but I just noticed something phenomenal. Thanks to the show's kiddy nature and thus Main-Characters-Don't-Kill-Directly stance...
This show actually recognises the strength of Stormtrooper armour! If you look closely at the troopers after they've been shot by the main characters (and even with blasters, not just that slingshot crap), they're usually squirming on the ground a little, most probably thanks to the stormtrooper armour's strength. Which is great. Until that pieceofshit droid dumped poor, good men into space. >__>

Unless they're clones in this, in which case they just shoot stuff and talk with New Zealand accents. So no one cares about them dying.

Okay...you asked for it.
We all know that the series will build to it so...
Ahsoka and Vader's first reunion with each other in the series...how do you think it will play out?
Will Vader react to her in a similar manner he did with Luke by trying to sway her to the darkside or will he simply go for the I'm going to kill you route?
Due to their past relationship I think Vader will try to sway Ahsoka to the darkside before trying to kill her, which I believe he will fail at doing...at least at their first encounter.

True, though this becomes more suspect after Jango's death, unless we presume that subsequent clone batches are "raised" by previous clones or more or less "programmed" with Jango's linguistic knowledge.
Less so for Boba. <_<
Much less so. True, he had the accent in AotC (reasonably enough), but ten is certainly young enough to subsequently lose all traces of an accent.
