Greetings, fellow Scenario Designers. I'm just letting you know that the Help Thread has been emptied so that you won't have to shuffle through 25 pages of questions and answers before you ask your questions. Instead, take a look at the Scenario Design Page that Angel AoErat has provided and already posted for us in his other thread, and take a look at everything there is to know about Scenario Design before asking any questions.

I think I'm losing it...I forget how to use the map copy on gate pillars so that I get only the gate pillar...

1. Go to "Map Copy" (Terrain --> Map Copy).
2. Select one pillar of the gate/arch.
3. Click on "Copy Selected Map Area".
4. You can now place single pillars on the map.

Alternatively, you could just d/l the All Units (SCN Editor) mod, which makes it a lot easier.

Select the unit's you want to put in a group, Press ctrl+#. I hope that i helped AND that i understood you're post.

Umm i mean, like say i hit the 1 number on the keyboard, then say ( JANGO FETT ) will move to a certain spot, or say that u hit 2 ( and 2 Destroyer Droids will come and follow u ) .....


can it be done ?

Although i've had experiance with trigger's im HORRIBLE at that kind of thing.

You'd have to use the AI system for healing, but tweak it a bit so that it moves a unit instead of heals it. Echuu might know.

This is very simple. I use it for my Force Powers.

Copy the taunt AI 3 times, and set them to
taunt 1 -> tribute 1 nova
taunt 2 -> tribute 1 metal
taunt 3 -> tribute 1 carbon
taunt 4 -> tribute 1 food
You can't make more. (No more resources)

(You can find how to do this on page 2 of this thread.)

Now make these triggers:

Activate Taunt DetectedON/NO LOOP
Condition: What you want.
Effect: Tribute 1 misc counter 1, 2, 3, and 4 to player 1.
Effect: Activate trigger: All Taunt Detected triggers.
Effect: Tribute 99999 from all resources from the player who as the AI.

Taunt Detected 1OFF/NO LOOP
Condition: Accumulate Attribute player (player who has the AI) 1 nova
Condition: Any other if you want.
Condition: Accumulate object: player 1 Misc counter 1.
Effect: Wat you want. (In your case, task objects)
Effect: Tribute: 1 Misc Counter from Player 1 to Gaia.
Effect: Tribute: 99999 nova from Player 3 to Gaia.

No you can use the trigger above for all resources.

It's easy. Make this trigger

Trigger : Invinsible Barrier
Looping : Yes
Starting State : On or Off (what you want)
Condition : Bring Object to Area
Effect : Task Object - set object which you want to task, set area which is far away the area used in condition.
Effect : Send Chat : <Invinsible Barrier On>

I knew that but you can avoid that easily. In Escape from Hoth for example there is just no way to bypass it.

I think it has something to do with cliffs, don't know what it is precisely though.

EDIT:

I've found it in YY's Scn Editor Guide.

First place down a cliff wall, then click on the rotate button and rotate it a few times, then move your screen away from the cliff. Move it back, it now will have disappeared. If you check the mini screen, you can see the brown line indicating that it is still there. If you wish to make it remove so the units can pass by it after accomplishing their task, merely use the remove object in area. Make sure the player is gaia, and select the area in question.

Two ways: Use Map Copy, or DL the "All Units in Scenario Modpack" in the Mod Downloads Section

How can I tribute from one player to another player without displaying instruction : GAIA paid 1 Food Tribute to you - something like in Sev Rance Tann Campaign. Who knows ?

Let player 1 tribute -1 food to Gaia. You have to use the copy/paste mathod and you can't touch it anymore or the effect will be reset.

I have a bug in my scenario's wich let unit's "walk" at the place they are standing.

Darth Sidious. I did what you had suggested, but it doesn't work. Why ? Well when I do that, the effect becomes red so the trigger doesn't work :sad:

hey i was trying to mass freeze units, but when I tested it, one side had scouts going everywhere (which I froze) and troopers on another team walking around aimlessly.

Why???????

If I were you I would use Immobile Units AI GOLD by Stan the Conquistador. To use the AI, Simply download it and put it in youre: C:/Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds\Game\AI. Then go into the game... Load your SCN... And click the players menu... Select the player that you want to freeze and go to personality and select: Immobile Units AI Gold. That should do it!
