The Scenario Design Help Thread

Greetings, fellow Scenario Designers. I'm just letting you know that the Help Thread has been emptied so that you won't have to shuffle through 25 pages of questions and answers before you ask your questions. Instead, take a look at the Scenario Design Page that Angel AoErat has provided and already posted for us in his other thread, and take a look at everything there is to know about Scenario Design before asking any questions.

Did somebody knows how to cut down a music in a specific place?
For exemple a music is for about 3:28 and i want 1:43 of this music...
Can somebody tell me how to do this...?

Edit the music or use deactivate trigger. : )

Allright, here's the problem. In my Invisible Hand there's allways something wrong with Obi-Wan Kenobi. First he didn't want to move anywhere, but I managed to fix it by changing Obi-Wan's ownership to another player and then back to his original player right at the beginning of the scenario. But then, when we need to battle droids, Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn't want to fight, though the droids attack him! I looked at the diplomacy, and the player whom Obi-Wan belongs is enemy to the droids. I even tried to order him to patrol (with triggers) so he attacked enemies automatically. But no! He patrols, but doesn't attack! Man, what a pacifist he is....

There are alternatives to fighting.

What kind of AI do you use ? A Jedi/Sith in stand gound position canot attack , unless the enemy unit is standing right next to him.
Anyway, use the task Object trigger to move Obiwan towards the enemy.If Obiwan attacks , then he will attack all the enemies normally.

You don't understand! There are too many droids for Anakin alone to beat, but Obi-Wan doesn't help him anyway! He just stands still, maybe moves a little.

Thanks, I'll try that. I use Immobile AI Gold for Obi-Wan.

EDIT 2: But in other scenarios Immobile AI Gold works normal!

No, dammit, it didn't work! Obi-Wan moves to a droid, starts swinging, but then suddenly stops! And doesn't attack again! I tried to make a looping task trigger, but it still didn't work! Does someone know a solution to this problem?

Delete Obi Wan, and task him near enemies instead of at. I have no idea, maybe you could send it to me and I could fix it up.

Doesn't work... I've even changed Obi-Wan from Player 4 to player 3, and changed all diplomacy, triggers... Still, he doesn't attack. I don't know why.

Maybe reinstalling the game will fix the problem

I also have a question. What condition can I use that activates the trigger once a certain number of units in an area are destroyed. I tried using a "objects in area" trigger and setting the quantity to one below the number of units I want destroyed. It didn't work. I need help please.

I suppose one way you could do that is to have a whole computer player dedicated to those units only. If those are the only units the player owns, you could use the "Own Fewer Objects" condition.

INFIDELS! IT is possible! When the object is created make a trigger that changes the objects attack or HP and select the area, when it is created it will change the attack or HP. Do not set an object though.

You can't change its name though.
