Greetings, fellow Scenario Designers. Yep, I encountered that too, the jedi go for any object like a DCP, which they somehow convert to a holocron, so i just don't use them anymore.

I just use the "Bring Object to Area" condition.

Well thats a very different condition that doesnt have anything to do with my purpose, the only condition that I thought would be perfect for what I wanted to do was "Selected Objects in Area" and it seems that it doesnt works.

There isn't a "Selected Objects in Area" condition.

There are "Object Selected" and "Objects in Area" conditions, and they both work.

"Object Selected" is self explanatory.

"Objects in Area" you have to set it to which ever player will have units in the area that you set, then number of objects in that area.

For example, if you had 2 player controlled units go through...

Condition: "Objects in Area"
Player : 1
Set Area: The area you want them in
Number of Objects: 2

Usually you should go further and set the specific Unit using the various menus available, however, I'm pretty sure it works fine otherwise.

This may sound stupid but when how can you change the colour of the writing on the screen in game because for me its just yellow but on other SCN's ive seen it in different colours.

i do Display instructions if that matters

Hm. Didn't see it, probably because I never use it. And I suppose the reason I don't use it is because it doesn't work.

If you need an object in area thing in conjunction with object selected, then use the two conditions I posted.

Well, actually only one of them worked for what I needed to do, but that was only after changing some triggers, anyway, I solve the problem

Question. I want to be able to have my troop hide behind a rock, and when anyone shoots at him, they can't see him, but if he runs behind the rock, they know he's there, but they hit the rock instead of him? Any idea how I could pull that off?

use the invisible target in the building section,but make sure its a enemy invisible target torwards the player shooting.

Could anyone post a link to the Immobile AI? I searched and found all these "Immobile RPG AI"'s and thes other ones with two AI's or something but, does anyone just have the Immobile AI?

how do you just completely disable a unit, so it cannot attack or move or do anything

if its a player unit, see if the Immobile Units AI Gold works. For CPU, same thing.

I don't know if anybody's asked this before, but, in the units section on map editor, what is the "explosion trigger"? What is it's purpose? How do you activate it?

Create one with a trigger, and kill it with a trigger to see a n explosion.

I got some problems when making a garrisoning/changing ownership trigger on my scenario.
What I wanted to do was that when one of my units go inside of a vehicle, to change that vehicle's ownership to yours, and when you get down, to make it change ownership to ally.

These are the triggers:

Trigger 1
Condition: Units Garrisoned (On the Luke's Landspeeder)
Effect 0: Change Ownership (LLS from P3 to P1)
Effect 1: Activate Trigger 2

Trigger 2
Condition: Bring Object to the Area (The area where if the object goes down, ownership changes)
Effect 0: Change Ownership (LLS from P1 to P3)
Effect 1: Activate Trigger 1

And now the problem is that when I send my unit to garrison inside, it gets inside, and unloads immediately.
Every time I get it inside, it just unloads, it keeps doing that and I can never make it stay on the Landspeeder.

Does someone knows whats wrong with the triggers?
Please Help...

im making an objective
'Create 5 Hvy Fambaa Shield Generators'
Ive tried everything i possibly can to make it so that when you have created 5 heavy fambaa shield gens it says objective complete, but it never seems to say it. Im not sure if i am using the wrong conditions, or do i need an effect?
O and btw, ive checked a million times that i have the make objective box ticked
