Well, I'm all but finished with a campaign (or rather a revision of said campaign), and I wanted to ask about a few things first.
1. Regarding having in-game sound effects via triggers (namely music). As a musician I want to set music with the scenario and have been trying for some time. I know how to do it in theory, but I am not certain I'm doing it right. When I set the "source player" as GAIA, I don't get any sound at all, but when I set it to Player 1, the game will crash instead of playing the music. Any advice or will this be beyond me?
2. Regarding giving the player advice. Some of the campaigns I have downloaded will go so far as to give the player a walkthrough in the Intelligence section, is this considered common courtesy and thus something I need to do? If so how in-depth need it be?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me, ANY advice (not just answering the questions) would be most welcome.

I don't know how I would change the format, and I don't think that is the problem. I have a campaign that I downloaded that used it's own music (Jedi Legends) which will work fine even though it's a .mp3 file.

Okay I've basically decided that I'm not going to try to put in music this time. I do intend to write music for later campaigns, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
I am practically ready to upload it now, I just have hunt down the WinZip program on my computer (or download it agian) and write the read-me and . . . what do you the writing that goes up on the site? Oh well, I'll think of it later.
So as a final request, what pitfalls or nusciances do new designer's campaigns ussually hit that you can warn me of before I upload mine?

Regarding the pathfinding, it is usually quite clear what to do and where to go, the few times it isn't are intentional and I have a way of rewarding exploration.
What do you mean by "difficulty snafus"?

Ah . . .
That was one of the major problems in my first attempt. Not long after uploading the first attempt, I downloaded a campaign that used an A.I. file (Immobile-Code). I tried experimenting with it in scenarios and found it made it very easy to manipulate the A.I. players.
I was originally tried to manipulate the A.I. player into standing still by giving them a scout in a seperate, secluded area of the map. The A.I. would often run around with the scout instead of using anything else. Unfortunatly, this wouldn't always work, and one mission would only work 1/4 of the time.
When started trying the A.I. file, they would work without fail, and I could even make some of the mission more complex. So I'm using it through almost the entire campaign.
I checked the site, and the file is present, so I can tell people to download in the on-site description (along with a few mods).

All right, I have now re-uploaded my campaign. However, I did it by updating the old one, and it didn't get put on the top of the list or make a new entry for it. I don't mind that it didn't end up on the top of the list, but I wish something would have changed about the old rating I was given.
All that aside, anyone who happens to read this, would you kindly give the campaign "Tann and Reath part one" a try if have the time and inclination? And then give some sort of feedback beyond "not bad"?
