Greetings, fellow Scenario Designers. I'm just letting you know that the Help Thread has been emptied so that you won't have to shuffle through 25 pages of questions and answers before you ask your questions. Instead, take a look at the Scenario Design Page that Angel AoErat has provided and already posted for us in his other thread, and take a look at everything there is to know about Scenario Design before asking any questions.

Technically, you can't remove fog of war.

However, map revealers work.

How would I trigger someything so that when my main character approaches a med droids etc, he would be healed?

Usually if they're actual med droids and are allied towards the player, they'll heal him anyway.

I know this must have been asked before, but how do I get images into my Computer from the game. I know to hit F12 to get a pic taken, but where do I find them at?

I think it's the print screen button that you press (next to F12) Then go into the SWGB/game folder (or something like that) and look in the screenshits folder.

I'm having a problem triggering a cutscene.

Basically it works like this:

small conversation between jan dodonna (albeit with different name) and boba fett which works fine.

then jan dodonna is taken away using the remove object trigger.

view scrolls to main reactor which explodes.

boba walks over to a landed cruiser (using the task object trigger and gets in (using the remove object trigger trigger)

the view scrolls elsewhere where the bounty is handed over (I've not managed to get to this)

The problem occurs when jan dodonna is removed. His team is defeated and all his buildings disappear, including the main reactor. The game then crashes. Any idea what's going wrong? I think it's something to do wuith dodonna being removed and the civ being defeated.

Put a "Undefeatable Object" under Dodonna's player command, if Dodonna is the only unit of that team.

I've got a question hopefully someone knows how to solve it

when in a scenario I have a Jedi killing people , but sometimes the unit simply stops or so.

How can I make so it constantly keeps moving and killing not allies?

This happened to me sometimes also when having a group of Jedi and suddenly all stop and let themselves kill

What can I do?

I've tried the undefeatable object but the game still crashes after player 2 disappears. Too many tiggers?

Yeah, Omri, it can be that. The 2nd level of my Campaign was crashing because of too much triggers, I removed a great part of them and now it's working fine.

Large amounts of trigger aren't the problem (TVS's scenario with over 1000 triggers didn't crash) but there are a ton of reasons why triggers could crash - remaking them usually helps .

I think its most likely you have the Remove Object trigger accidentally taking away the entire player 2. It'd be a good idea to follow Bendak's advice and redo that trigger.

The trigger that's supposed to fire when it crashes.

For example:

Trigger 1 - Display Instructions: "I will eat your children!"

Trigger 2 -

Condition 10 seconds

Remove object - Darth Vader


Then in game the instruction "I will eat your children!" appears, then 10 seconds later trigger 2 is gonna fire, but then the game crashes. It would be because Trigger 2 is faulty.

Question,
What can I do if in a scenario I need to change the diplomacy but when game started it was on "LOCK TEAMS (or that )" What can I do so it in fact changes when the trigger activates? Since for instance its on hard it will change the diplomacy if it is not locked.

Hey everyone. Im new to this site, but have been reading many topics that have been posted here on the scenario editor.

Question: Is it possible to make an object invisible, then reappear? I have looked for this on other topics, but i could not find it. I have asked many other people, but nobody seemed to know.

The Map Revealer can cause thing to appear from the shroud of war. But if its a building, removing it will not make it vanish. It will still be seen through the fog of war.
