Hello everyone.
For as long as I remember, I always faced that annoying bug: when the AI send Jedi to battle, they tend to start attacking, but then cancel their attack before it makes any damage, restart attacking, and essentially be completely useless.
I suppose it is because the AI wants to keep its distance, so it tries to flee beause the target is very close, but as it flees it realizes that the range of the Jedi is very short, so it attacks, but immediately flees...
That's especially annoying when making custom scenarios, as Jedi essentially become worthless ennemies.
Anyone knows some kind of fix to this?
____
EDIT: Well, probably no-one is ever going to read this, but I may have found a weird fix to this in the scenario editor: changing the Jedi's "unit class" (thanks to Expanding Fronts) to "Mounted Troopers" (Change Unit Data, SET Class 56)
On my computer, it works just fine. The game handles it ok, the Jedi is actually attacking and everything... But whenever I quit the current game (like hitting "Restart"), the game instantly shuts down.
I will make additionnal tests to see if those two things are indeed linked and if there is a way around it.
